It's like having Bayern Munich, Sligo Rovers, Athlone Town and Bray Wanderers in the last four of the Champions League. The Germans would be embarrassed to win it. Oh the Championship is competitive alright lol."
Bit disrespectful to Mayo. You do realise that 4 of Dublin's 7 AI's since 2011 have been won by a solitary point and matters were even closer when you consider semi-final and final replays. 3 times Mayo have lost to Dublin by a point, most recently in 2017. I'm not getting you're Bayern Munich v Athlone Town analogy. It's as out of place as your county allegiance on your username.

Cavan, Tipp and Mayo have earned the right to have a go.

You obviously don't understand odds Joxer. If you did you might be able to figure out the analogy. And you're typical GAA sledging is uncalled for by the way.

Must be very long grass!!!!!

Years to early for Mayo unless they shock the the Dubs, provided they win semi, which if they got beat wouldn't surprise me

It's not being disrespectful at all to anyone, it's just a fact of life , anyone with average intelligence wouldn't even attempt a counter argument, if they do, then they don't really understand the game at all. Dublin will beat Cavan and go on to win the final easily, simple stuff to understand really. No other sport is so predicable. Sad for the game.

Well Dubs fan Tipp would nt have a leg to stand on as Croke Park a neutral venue for both counties. However although I'm not sure if you ré serious orjoking bit I think the reason that Kildare pushed the Newbridge thing was because they felt Mayo were so used to playing in headquarters.

Would that be the same way Donegal where to easily beat Cavan and Cork meant to beat Tipo easily. Nothing in sport is ever that simple.

It's a knockout cup competition

Div 1 sides expected to be contesting the semifinals were found to be wanting against lower tier opppsition and really need to look at themselves for their failures.

Dublin beat the teams they were expected to beat.

Nothing was predictable about the current Semi-final pairings, apart from Dublin being there.

If it's a foregone conclusion then that responsibility rests with those that greatly underachieved.

Kerry and Donegal were being well hyped up before a ball was kicked and plenty thought they'd challenge with Dublin potentially having to beat them both

Not Dublin's fault that they didn't live up to the hype

Perhaps, perhaps not but in recent years it was more akin to Anderlecht v Notts Forest or Juve vs whoever ;-)

I was surprised but not shocked that Cavan beat Donegal and that Tipp beat Cork. But the topic is about the winner of Sam and believe me there wont be any upset to Dublin winning it. They should win at least ten in a row, maybe more, who knows.

Ah now come on, Ulster always a minefield, you can nearly say the same about Connaught now with 3 contenders, Kerry picked a bad day to experiment, but there are zero obstacles for Dublin in Leinster. Is it 15 out of the last 16 Leinster titles they have won? I think there's only one man still playing inter county in Leinster outside of Dublin who has a Leinster medal. Ross Munnelly of Laois I think. Tells you all you need to know.

Yep Leinster is very poor

It has been for a long time. Even a poor Dublin outfit won a 5 in a row in 05,06,07,08,09

Long before the supposed reasons for Leinster being the way it is.

So the greatest Dublin team of all time were bound to keep up the trend.

Kerry blew it. Should have been a comfortable enough 8 in a row, followed by 9 and 10

Tipp beating an average Cork side demonstrates that perfectly.

Donegal were clear cut favourites to win Ulster when they got through Tyrone and we're highly regarded to possibly be eventual winners.

The reason why Dublin's odds are currently like that, is because the two strong favourites for Ulster/Munster were beaten by lower tier opposition. Both were widely tipped to challenge Dublin and the odds you're quoting would be distinctly different.

Not really Dublin's fault that it's as predictable as you're making it.

Kerry especially had built up quite a bit of backing to go all the way this year and I'm sure there was money lost on them when they pressed the self destruct button against Cork.

Despite the welcome wins for Tipperary and Cavan footballers last weekend, it is hard to see beyond Dublin winning 6 in a row. The only remaining team who could possibly stop them are Mayo, who have to beat Tipperary first. I expect Dublin to overcome a battling Cavan team, no disrespect to Cavan.
Leinster is no contest, but it is up to the other 10 counties to put in the effort to beat Dublin. No point complaining about Dublin's success, unless you get up to the required level.

Dublin should beat Cavan but I don't think by as much as most might think. Maybe 4-7 points. Mayo will beat Tipp by about the same roughly. The final. No idea. Dublin should buuuuut always will say Mayo are not a predictable bunch and they have new blood. If they meet it will a competition at least, with the possibility of an ambush because it is 2020 and everything has been nuts

And explain how you think teams can up to Dublin's level on an uneven playing pitch MicktheMiller ? Nobody is complaining about Dublin's success. People tend to forget that this is supposed to be an amateur sport, not pro or semi pro, that's what people complain about. They would do the same if Kerry were using buckets of money to increase their chances of success.
