Munster Football Final - Tipp V Cork

Very well done to Tipperary, that was a tonic watching that, especially given the weekend that was in it.

Good open, entertaining game as well, so fairplay to both teams.

Brilliant. Well done Tipp.

As for cork ? .. well..... how very cork was that. Beat Kerry and lose to Tipp. Infuriatingly inconsistent

Congratulations Tipp. 2020 is truly the weirdest year ever. Mayo for Sam. Just had to be.

Replying To CiarraiMick:  "Wow Fionn you are obsessed by Kerry I think. We in Kerry kept saying we are wary of Cork and that a bad Cork team will put it up to Kerry and vice versa. Cork are a good team but Tipp rise for Cork. Clare were favourites v Tipp. Tipp needed extra time v Limerick and Cork extra time v Kerry. A very competitive province at the moment don't you think."
By far the better team. No luck about it.

So happy for Tipp footballers. Some great football played particularly in the first half. Best of luck in the semi's. But how on earth do you add 5 minutes of injury time to that match? Hardly a stoppage apart from the water break. This is another thing that needs reviewed.

Tipp have put a lot of effort into this but are looking a little tired as we go into the last 10 minutes.

Can they hang on??"
Not much funding, small population and a Final in their opponents home ground eh... ;o)

Well done Tipp.

Fantastic win for Tipp. Delighted for them as they have been so close for years. Commiserations to Cork who tried valiantly against Tipp. First since 1935 for Tipp and 2nd all semi final now in 4 years.

Yes, Cork has enough ambition to rise it for the old enemy, Kerry, but not much ambition beyond that. Same is true, to a lesser extent, of Donegal v Tyrone. Still a heart-warming result for neutrals, but that's where the fairytale ends for Tipp

Tipp county board manages the hurlers. Separate football board and a separate group that raises money to pay for the footballers

Massive congratulations to Tipp

It's not much of a shock really. .

Cork were distinctly average against Kerry

All credit to Tipp and an amazing story given the historical importance

Both Tipp and Dublin collecting silverware on the weekend that's in it

Ahhh absolutely delighted, what a brilliant result for Tipp football. Wee Donegal connection with Charlie McGeever in there, fantastic.
