Absolute blood bath.

For me Meath got this tactically wrong, playing with a high press you are inviting Dublin into a game of football and asking them to break a line, with pace, skill, movement and catching and kicking, all Dublins strengths. Meath look surprised that Dublin are breaking the press, they don't seem to have a plan in behind it and Dublin forwards in acres of space. 10 points later Meath go defensive and Dublin just picking them off. So now Dublin have reversed and can't beat Dublins press, can't win their own ball, goal kick or possession and can't get out.

Meath came to play Dublin at their own game, bad move, only ever going to be one outcome.

Meath scored 4 points against Dublin in the Leinster Final last year..I wonder will they score as much this year. They have 2 points scored at half time so they're half way there.

It's sad to see this! Where does a great footballing county like Meath go from here? Meath have improved in so much as they're now capable of competing between 6th and 16th; which will give them seasons in Div 1 now and again and some Leinster final appearances. But really competing, where the country loved see Meath with tens of thousands of their fans in Croke Park looks a very, very long way off sadly. The top counties are gone from the pack; only county with the resources and potential to beat their way into that group is Cork; the rest look to have an impossible task.

Dubs would benefit more from an A vs B match.

Looks like Wicklow softened up Meath 2 matches ago.

What is Meaths gameplan tonight? At least last year they played defensive and held Dublin to 0-5 1st half.

Tonight they are soo loose in defence giving the Dubs all the time and room on the ball to shoot and score. 2nd half continues in the same manner Dublin will win by 25 points at least but they might ease off a little 2nd half?

No offence to Marcus Brennan, but Meath must have better keepers? He has no distance on his kickout

Ya, considering Meath hammered Kildare ye boys may take up darts.

That first half was a tough one for the Meath young lads, they're not able for the Dubs work rate and intensity and their confidence seems shot.Hopig for a much better second half.

Exceptional Dublin team who will not be stopped six in a row is inevitable now. Sad to see the gap that has appeared between age old rivals, had really hoped Meath would make a game of this.

Ah look lads, Dublin living on another planet, you have to hand it to them, game was over long before half time.

It'll be interesting to see if any of the remaining teams can stop them, on current form I'd have my doubts although the likes of Donegal won't be beaten mentally 10mins into the game.

No credit given to Dublin's desire to hit hard and turn over ball and play lovely football

No acknowledgement or analysis whatsoever from you.. just type cast stuff

How about the way Meath setup, their kick outs are a disaster, missing sitter frees

Meath humiliated Kildare and Wicklow

There was no talk of the sky falling down

Talk to your county board who supported the leinster Councils focus on dublin gaa . Its all about the money. Dublin make the money leinster take the crumbs and are happy about it. Meath and kildare should be way better huge benefits of the celtic tiger increased population etc but their teams have gone backwards. Not good for gaa.

The disgrace is Meath not scoring since the 8th minute.

It is a complete joke I've been a gaa man all my life but our game is now a one county game and that includes my own county of kerry. It is a ptofessional team dublin versus an amateur team in meath anthe other 30 amateur counties as well I will say again it is a complete joke. Hats off to the guys in croker who made the dubs what they are the best team of any era

Yes Dublin have been the successful county in the last decade but to me the problem runs deeper than Dublin. There are now 4 or 5 semi professional teams at the top of the game (Mayo, Dublin, Kerry, Donegal and Tyrone). The cost of running those teams; are they paying outside coaches?, full time employees etc is crazy. Kerry are young; but believe me they're a coming force as are the rest. One of those counties will soon stop Dublin; we've seen Mayo and Kerry already come close. For all the rest of the counties the sheer resources in those semi professional counties make it pretty much impossible bar the very very odd shock to put on a glove on them.

We've seen decent Div 1 and Div 2 counties completly over run this autumn; counties you could argue sit around 7th or 8th in the country. Some serious review needs to take place in counties looking to catch up, starting with how can they get more finance?
