Ulster Final Donegal V Cavan

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

This seems a worse standard than the Munster final - though I am biased in this.

Cavan look good.

Replying To Jim_Shorts:  "Big decisions going the way of Donegal. That mark not given for McKiernan a certain score. As mickey said big team get the big calls"
I rolled my eyes when I read Mickey Graham's comments earlier in the week but I have to agree that Donegal are getting all of the close calls today (and some wrong ones going their way).

This is poor stuff, even the rare moments both sides manage create to use some skill they flunk it.

Cavan are being rode here. 2 dodgy black cards, no advanced mark given and a possible red not given to McGonigle.

Congratulations Cavan. A lesson for our lads today in being too cocky. I thought we learned a lesson in 2013 but obviously not. Cavan fully deserved winners and much the better team than the scoreboard suggests.

Replying To joeteor:  "Dubs will beat us out the gate if we win here, we've only been talked about because Kerry are out and the people need somebody else to point to as the Dublin challenge, we weren't mentioned before that."
Donegal won't have to worry about Dublin!!!!

Comhghairdeas mór An Cabhán, well deserved and some massive performances. Thomas Galligan dhia sabháil.

Bitterly disappointed for our boys and a lot of soul searching to be done.

I'm sorry to the cavan lads. I never gave you a chance. Amazing stuff. Such a shame Tipp and cavan fans cant be in the ground to see this.

Fulsome congratulations to Cavan on a fully merited win. Many will talk about their fighting qualities and will to win but they also played with great skill especially in defence.
Only for the period of the first black card Donegal played second fiddle the whole way through, they got the benefit of some dubious calls but were simply outplayed.
Roll on 2021.

Congrats Cavan. Well deserved and actually I feel good for your players and supporters.
We couldn't deal with your intensity especially in the 2nd half.
Yah I thought we would win, so did the bookies. But there you go.

Enjoy your celebrations!
