Nicky Rackard Semi Final

(Oldest Posts First)

Good luck to the hurlers Saturday, hardly a word all year about the hurlers especially with their success last year but hurling behind soccer and rugby in Leitrim for interest imo.

These competitions have been treated even worse than they'd be in a normal year. I wish ye well but I expect Mayo to be much too strong for Leitrim.

At least the McDonagh Cup will be in Croke Park on All-Ireland Final day.

Great to see Leitrim in a semi-final in the first year after winning promotion from Lory Meaghar (as an aside, I wonder if its time to consider merging the two competitions, having a 5th tier with just 4 teams doesn't seem to make that much sense anymore).

However, I do feel a bit sorry for Armagh, it feels a little like wining the first round games almost put teams at a disadvantage. Looking forward to seeing the games broadcast in any case.

I agree with you on merging the Rackard & Meagher competitions. Longford get relegated after losing by one score to Leitrim who qualify for the semifinal.

Is anyone showing the Offaly V Down Ring semifinal?
