Commentary on RTE is absolute rubbish. The poor audience is watching a completely different game to these two caricatures in the commentary box. My god tgere are two teams playing a solitary pount between them and the gushing from the box towards Galway is nauseating. Sound is off now! arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4434 - 14/11/2020 18:51:36 2308830 Link 2 |

Tight game now but the cynical carry on is crazy. Hogans goal was truly sublime. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4434 - 14/11/2020 19:46:07 2308862 Link 1 |

Water break used to great effect again... Cats down by 4pts and looking beat, and then come out and win by 2pts in the end. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3309 - 14/11/2020 19:52:16 2308866 Link 0 |

Same old Galway promises so much but don't deliver when it matters. A came that kilkenny deserved to win but Galway could have won. Going to bed Heartbroken. We have next week but going on this performance we have a lot to do to win this years All Ireland heartbroken (Galway) - Posts: 356 - 14/11/2020 20:02:33 2308873 Link 0 |
A lot of the hurling people say we don't need black card cos we better than football etc but it's foils like that that show us there should be a black card in hurling. KK saved a bear certain goal with little punishment. Cynical fouls should be punished. End of.

Strange day for hurling, indeed. Both Cork and Galway looked very likely winners coming into the last quarter and both will be wondering what happened. Biggest surprise was probably the decisive nature of Clare's win over Wexford. With the benefit of hindsight, maybe we read too much into Galway's easy win over Wexford. It seems the Slaney men are nowhere near last year's level and it will be interesting to see whether Davy will stay on. midlands (Westmeath) - Posts: 221 - 14/11/2020 20:31:32 2308890 Link 0 |
The play should continue and if no score comes is brought back, just like rugby. It is extremely frustrating as a player to have worked an overlap and then the whistle goes. Let the play continue until the opposition get the ball.

Galway looked a little bit unfit to me. Goalkeeper and defence were at sixes and sevens for the 2 goals. Also we lacked a good full forward. galwayford (Galway) - Posts: 1927 - 14/11/2020 20:40:35 2308900 Link 0 |
Goalkeeper a liability for Galway.Lucky not to concede a second Richie Hogan and third Kilkenny goal.

"Going to bed Heartbroken." Well, it is your username. A good game of hurling, in bad conditions. It could have gone either way. Galway are still in it. They have a week to regroup before they play Clare or Tipp.

Hurling definitely needs a Black Card introduced. The cynical stuff is on the rise by a lot of teams. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3309 - 14/11/2020 20:57:01 2308917 Link 1 |
