Mark Keane's goal this weekend for Cork was one of the most dramatic finishes to a game I've ever seen. Championship match, win or go home, literally the last kick of the game, and in a game between two great rivals. Ticked all the boxes for me, minus having the reaction of the fans in the stadium. Its going back a long long time now but shifting a young one from Loughrea I'd been chasing all night at the school hop. She was practically on the bus home. Maroonatic (Galway) - Posts: 947 - 09/11/2020 09:45:23 2306617 Link 11 |

Leitrim forward James Glancy scored a last minute injury time volley from about 20 yards out, to draw a game against Donegal in the qualifiers in 2007. They beat us by 2 points after extra time. He caught it on the full volley and it shot in to the net as sweet as strike as you could ever see. leitrim4sam (Leitrim) - Posts: 475 - 09/11/2020 10:13:42 2306643 Link 0 |

Kevin Cassidy's winning point v Kildare in the 2011 quarter final for me was the best last gasp score to win a game for us that I can remember, must have been a sickener for Kildare though and they have been a very unlucky team over the years. That was a cracker against us that day! I remember I was half way towards the gate thinking we'd just done enough to get out with the win after a very scrappy performance. Then Glancy popped up with his Tony Yeboah impression. I'd love to see a clip of that goal to see if it is as good as I'm remembering it. That was Michael Murphy's senior debut for Donegal as well, he scored a goal with his first possession. Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 7075 - 09/11/2020 14:24:28 2306824 Link 0 |

Ryan O Donoghue scored an absolute screamer in the last couple of minutes in the league versus Meath this year. Would love to see that again actually. Typical Mayo- Never Dead Caoimhog88 (Kildare) - Posts: 79 - 09/11/2020 16:59:48 2306906 Link 0 |

I don't remember what time of the match it was but it felt really late anyway, Adrian Sweeney's equaliser against Dublin in the drawn match in 2002. Some atmosphere that day and some game JoeSoap (Donegal) - Posts: 1125 - 09/11/2020 19:08:25 2306963 Link 1 |
