Time for Spillane and o Shea to exit the Sunday game. Many more x players and managers out there that could freshen up the Sunday game and voice there view of the great game."
Tbf to Pat and many other pundits, it was a shock. Did you tip Cork yourself?

Nobody unfortunately"
No chickens being counted anywhere, I can definitely assure you of that.

Long long way to go and with Mayo, Galway, Donegal, Cork and even meath still there - anything can happen...

Why would you write off your own county's chances...??? very defeatist of you...!

Much easier chance of Mayo getting to another All Ireland final now imo, with kerry out of the way...!

Kerry setting up like that had a lot more to do with possibly playing Dublin than it did playing against Cork

I wouldn't mind but it didn't work last year. .

I personally think you saw a very frustrated figure in Clifford having to play in a system like that and explains a few of his decisions when in position."
You simply have to take one game at a time and not look forward to any possible opponent down the line.
kerry didnt do that yesterday... totally consumed with Dublin and trying to stop them before even getting to play them.

One of the league games kerry had all 15 players in their own 65 - they have a real attacking force yet choose to play this defensively.. very strange...

Clifford is a fine player. He is Kerry best. Some Cork players deserve some credit too. Maurice Shanley and Seán Meehan were outstanding at 3 and 6. Both making debut and marking Clifford and Sean O Shea. Sean Powter has been injured for three years. Has has set back after set back and was brilliant yesterday. Paul Kerrigan came on. He has taken some s##te over last few years but stuck it out as he loves it. Yesterday was some reward for that. Tipperary will prove a big challenge in Munster Final. Have to focus on it now.

Dooher's point was far better in my opinion, there's been lots of points scored over the years as good and better than Clifford's yesterday, McStay talks an awful lot of hot air at times.

Mayo usually get beaten by Cork more than Kerry, but I think they have a game in Salthill first

Mayo/Galway/Cork/Tipp are hardly distraught seeing Kerry gone form that side of the draw too.

Doesn't have to be empty in Dublin. All neutral grounds. Why ask Donegal and the Connacht champions to go to empty Croke Park.

Absolutely, some people seem to think that Mayo are a cert to go through to the last 4. I know the lack of a game is not ideal for Galway just before facing Mayo but Galway won't be a disappointment like the Rossies were at the weekend in my opinion. I can see a close game with Galway shading it just.

At this stage at 6 in a row all those counties do not want to see the same old same old and Dublin winning again.
Kerry had the best chance of beating Dublin.

Kerry won 5 minors all irelands in a row,
But not one of those teams went on to win a u20 all ireland
That would be around 100 lads with all ireland minor medals
But it seems only a small group look like making it
Which is shocking really even with have that no of minor winners

Absolutely, Galway with a massive point to prove and waiting in the long grass. Very rare you beat a team twice in the one season.Joyce said it was his most embarrising moment in his career, I dont think he will want it repeated.

Sadly neither Galway or Mayo will beat Dublin.
Donegal the last ditch hope Im afraid.

Dooher's point was pure class.

Graham Geraghty scored a better point than Clifford's against the Dubs in 2007 I think. Much tighter angle for Geraghty and on his weaker foot.

Can Galway cause the next shock upset and beat Mayo in the Connacht final? Galway must be massive underdogs now after that drubbing Mayo gave them in the league game, I think Mayo have their eyes on Sam and the Dubs again on the 3rd Sat in December.

I think you are right about Mayo, but Donegal look a real formidable team.
Winter conditions - I wouldn't be betting against Donegal that is for sure...!

I haven't seen anything yet that's better than Dublin. I also don't buy into the fact that Kerry were the only threat to Dublin winning 6. People were getting carried away with Kerry. Their last two league games were to beat a declining Monaghan team that are already out of the championship and a Donegal side resting 9 players from the previous week.
I'm not trying to take away from Corks win as it was well deserved but I never bought into the current hype of this Kerry team. Tyrone and Derry were winning All Ireland minor title's but found it difficult to translate all those players to senior. The U20/21 grade is a better sign of a good crop.
I actually think that if Tyrone had gotten past us they would have given the AI a fair crack. We have shown in the past that we have Tyrone's number in Ulster but have failed beyond that so the jury is still out on Donegal and Armagh are waiting to do a Cork on us.

If I was a neutral I would say Mayo for sure, very settled team. Horan gets the best out of ye. Up da west.
