Longford three up on Laois at half time looks a decent game there. All to play for.

Won by 7-14 to 0-7. No problem to Meath in Aughrim.

How can an empty stadium possibly be classed as "home advantage" you could play these games on a club pitch never mind an empty stadium.

I'm talking about the surrounding area. Ie aughrim lot smaller to hold those attending than Mullingar.

None whatsoever. We will go anywhere.
That's no good for anyone though. Beating Wicklow by that amount doesn't give me one bit of joy, we were methodical, still plenty to work on but we were playing division one this year Wicklow playing division 4 and unfortunately the gap showed. Again take no pleasure in that score line as it will do no good to football in Wicklow. That been said we have found one hell of a player in Jordan Morris
Hon the royal

Shocking. We even had the pleasure of taking off the likes of keoghan and O'Sullivan 3/4 way through.
Just feel for Wicklow. A defeat like that won't do them any good.
That all been said we are a coming team and in Jordan Morris we have found a forward to match any in the country. Bring on the next opponent, then and only then will we look at who is next :)

Because you train there, you know the surroundings, you know the pitch dimensions, it's more convenient, you don't have to travel as far. Do you not agree?

Mayo looked very strong in the opening quarter against Roscommon. I switched over to Fermanagh and Down after that but they're looking quite good this year.

They'll be a huge test to Kerry in the semi-final who will be coming in cold.

Aye, Meath should win Leinster this year.
Shocking lack of consideration for Wicklow today. That'll set them back no end.

Wicklow appalling today no other words for it, but once the dust settles promotion has been achieved. After today we are under no illusions for lies in store if we do not prepare for what lies ahead in Division 3. I'll forget about today and take solace in the fact that we do actually have some good minor teams etc coming through. Minors beat Dublin and Meath in recent years. Today was a freak result, usually only 4-6 points between Meath and Wicklow. Sit tight in Division 3, let our talented youth, D'Arcy, Ging etc find their feet in the higher division. I'd be more disappointed if we were staring down the barrel of another year of Division 4 football.

Unlucky against Carlow last night by all accounts.

Kerry look very ponderous and wasteful. They were wasteful in both the drawn game and hte replay in the final last year. For a team with such huge talent in the forwards it must be maddening to supporters to miss so many chances.

Cork good value for the 1 point lead at the minute but in reality Kerry should have had at least 1-2 extra on the board.

The conditions are a factor but look at Tyrone and Donegal in much worse conditions last week with the wind a huge factor too. Yes the ball is slippery and that but still, they don't look like they will be beating whoever comes out of Connacht on that first half showing. However I'd still expect them to figure it out and pull away in the second half. Might do them no harm in the long wrong that they've struggled a little here.

At home. Like most lads - there was a big run on hair clippers during the first lockdown
