Kilkenny 16 pts up at one stage and lucky to get out the gap in the end. This year is going to be interesting if nothing else. catch22 (USA) - Posts: 1647 - 31/10/2020 17:34:42 2303463 Link 1 |
Cork looked terrible today. Off the pace. Lost for ideas and lucky to convert the one goal chance. Even when they needed scores they werent commiting enough players forward. Waterford had a field day with most attempts to get back in the game. Limerick or Tipp will pose a different set of problems for them but a fairly convincing performance overall. Amen. Fair play to Dublin.

I agree with all of your logic I'm just hoping you're wrong. Ha ha.

Well I'd delete that message now if I could!! Galway looking slick to say the least. The open/no positions type of game is suiting Galway. Whelan is an animal, you can give him any type of ball and he will cause havoc. There will surely be a response from Wexford yet though. tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 2911 - 31/10/2020 19:01:30 2303527 Link 1 |

Congrats to Galway.my god their players have even got bigger..gave Wexford a real hiding and if they wanted I feel it might have been much more if they really pushed it..Wexford looked way off the pace and could face a very dodgy match against a Munster loser.. Tip, It was a laugh the way everyone had galway written of. We have always had the better of wexford under Davy. We weren't in last years championship. Oh ye of little faith Galway haven't gone away.

Wow, I did think you were going to be off a little, with your 7 points win by Wexford, but its great to see how spectacularly! Gaillimh Abú

Conor Whelan is a beast to be sure. Very dangerous all the time. As happy as I am with Galway I must say I'm very disappointed in Wexford as a HURLING fan/fanatic. I really felt like Wexford could have/should have beaten Tipp last year and went on to win it all. They really seemed to be that close. Very disappointing performance. I truly don't know how good Galway are after that match. Fair play to Dublin they'll be a nightmare matchup for someone. And nobody including me picked Waterford. Delighted for them.

That's for sure. As it stands they're probably favs for the All Ireland. Two Burke's to come back and a couple of games from All Ireland final. Impressive to say the least. As big and strong a team as they were they're conditioned even more now. Will be hard to beat. As I said all ready Galway aren't a team I'd like Tipp to meet.

It's easy for you to crow after the event, considering you didn't bother to make any predictions yourself.

One burke Dathni, David will be a sub this year as his best years are behind him. What I liked about Galway were their physical strength they will match any team for physicality this year. As for favourite its Tip, limerick then Galway . Its technically knock out competition a lot of teams will be cold and not up to the pace , as Davy said wexford threw in the towel and as such the score line flatters Galway.

I'd say winner of Tipp-Limerick will be heavy favorites to win it all. It's hard to tell about Galway as Wexford were poor. In fairness though I didn't see the match only listened to it.

Oh my god a happy whistle ref who is destroying what could be a classic hurling match. CTGAA10 (Limerick) - Posts: 1045 - 01/11/2020 16:41:48 2303919 Link 1 |
Limerick looking good at half time. Hard to see Tipp making up a nine-point deficit even with the wind. RTE again showing poor judgement having Anthony Daly as analyst, in view of his recent involvement with Limerick. He has queried at least five or six frees given to Tipp while asking no questins about any of those awarded to Limerick. In fairness I think the referee is doing fine in what I think is his first big game. midlands (Westmeath) - Posts: 221 - 01/11/2020 16:49:04 2303930 Link 1 |

Unbelievable call for the second Tipp goal. It was blatantly obvious in real time that Noel McGrath picked the ball straight off the ground. He threw it as well. Brutal refereeing. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 841 - 01/11/2020 17:23:49 2303958 Link 2 |
I hope Galway get Tipp in the All Ireland Semi Final...they are so overrated P.Maher,N.Mcgrath,Bubbles all the wrong side of 30 (legs are gone) favourites my backside!!

Limerick strong favourites for All Ireland. While the weather was a factor, limerick were very hungry and had a unbelievable will to win. Tip like wexford were flat and unable to find another gear heartbroken (Galway) - Posts: 356 - 01/11/2020 18:11:10 2303992 Link 1 |
