i remember being at the infamous league match meath v dublin 2008 in parnell park when 5 players were sent off 3 dubs and 2 meath and someone threw a cup of tea aimed at ciaran whelan as he walked off after sending off, graham was a sub being a veteran by this time he was introduced not long after and took up a full forward position in front of the dubs fans end, plenty of nice songs and jeering when he came in, graham turned around and blew them a kiss, the place erupted in a cheer, all tensions disipatted after that! dickie10 (UK) - Posts: 532 - 29/10/2020 22:30:40 2302982 Link 5 |

I was at that match and was having banter with a friend of mine from Kells the next day on the phone. The first thing he said to me was "a waste of good tae". Get well soon Graham.
