The thing about the most titles in any sport is they tend to be over generations or decades taking in a number of different eras and teams. It would be nice to sit at the top of the roll of honour and it would make that team/county historical with so many great stories. sam1884 (UK) - Posts: 707 - 26/10/2020 16:11:19 2301679 Link 4 |
First World problems indeed. Have to admit that I never thought I'd see the day, still get goosebumps watching the 2018 hurling final. Really hope you can see Mayo win an all Ireland sooner rather than later. skillet (Limerick) - Posts: 710 - 26/10/2020 17:02:56 2301704 Link 1 |
Whatever you are doing in the present. If Dublin won 5 in a row 10 years ago and Kerry were getting on top of the list right now i would rather Kerry. In the present i would rather be Dublin. If anyone else win 2 or 3 in the next 2 or 3 years i would rather be them. It is what have you done lately in all sports. gatha (Kilkenny) - Posts: 183 - 26/10/2020 18:14:04 2301726 Link 3 |
Personally, I'd say winning it in 2 different countries tops the lot ;)

Talk of the 5-in-a-row will be universally everlasting. Talk of who won the championship in any given year will only last and matter within the respective county. I mean, whom do you hear speaking these days of the "great win" in 1939 or 1953? Exactly, no one. So yes, it's definitely the 5-in-a-row for me. But personally, I'd love to see NY descend on CP and win Sam and take him back to the city that never sleeps! foreveryoung (USA) - Posts: 31 - 27/10/2020 05:20:12 2301844 Link 2 |
It was ridiculous. A ridiculous amount of financial doping in my opinion. Split Dublin in 2.

Why thank you. You may also noticed how very shrewd we are in taking the first steps over the weekend towards becoming the first team to win the A and B all Ireland football titles ;) cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 4135 - 27/10/2020 08:18:27 2301851 Link 2 |

If you look up the allireland senior football championship on wiki all it gives is the current winner of the allireland the dub$ and the most successful team in its history which is Kerry. We've made plenty of history winning a a minor 5 in a row the junior 5 in a row winning two 4 in a rows senior allirelands winning the centenary in 84 we won the millinium all Ireland in 2000 we won the first allireland football final shown on sky sports, we have won the most minor (16) junior (20) and senior allirelands (37) and are only second to Cork at U21/20 (10) and we have won the most leagues (21) Now that's tradition and history. Humble or what eh.... but I suppose for a county who think it is their divine right to win Sam everywhere - shouldnt expect anything else from ye... Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3309 - 27/10/2020 11:47:23 2301931 Link 5 |
Rattled much? All together now, Kerry are the best at everything there ever was football related and always will be forever and ever Amen. Tis written in the stars. A divine right if you will.

Thank you for bringing all of that history and tradition to our attention. Nobody would ever know otherwise. The one about winning the first AI shown on Sky Sports is a really tremendous achievement. Well done lad to your county. And 5 at minor and junior in a row!!! WOW! Fantastic! That must make you feel great. I can only imagine how it'd make you feel, if your county could ever, ever do the 5-in-a-row at SENIOR level. You'd probably write us all a novel on here to express how wonderful that would make you feel. Hope on and dream on. foreveryoung (USA) - Posts: 31 - 27/10/2020 12:02:06 2301941 Link 4 |

Would I or any other Kerry supporter give up our history or the success that our brilliant footballers have achieved over the years for a 5 in row? Not on your Nelly pal. Also yer not very humble yer selves so I just said I'd lob our big 1 out on the table. And we think it's our Devine right to win the allireland every year not everywhere like you said above but obviously we'll play 90 to 95 % our game away from home every year we have no problem with that ( because its fair) And what has been liked got to do with anything? Do you think Kerry people need your validation? :-) KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 11732 - 27/10/2020 12:11:25 2301946 Link 3 |
