Yep Pal, also ROC.

I wonder did we have plans for any of the U20 squad this year, similar to POCB last year, the postponement of the U20 final might have scuppered that. I think the rule is you cant play U20's in the senior team while that competition is still going on.

A few really have caught the eye.

Yep, that is the rule.
Unfortunate, as I think a couple of players in particular would have fit nicely into our senior squad.

Wasnt forgetting about ROC - he wont make it unfortunately.
Not the same player he was at all.
Pity though, as he would have been excellent under the high ball.
He is too slow now and can be turned far too easily.

Still think there will be a couple of changes to the Dub5 team before throw in.

I'm not sure. They changed rule last year in that if you finished playing for u 20 you can play senior. Ie POCB. Before that if you played u 20 you could nt play senior even if you were finished u 20.Technically the u 20 s can play as the competition finished for this year albeit posponed
Prob one for a legal eye lol.

Kerry secure a 21st League title, not too bad for a county that never really took the competition too seriously.

Hopefully its good momentum to becoming Kerry38, but then again we wouldn't be so immature as to indulge in such silliness.

Perhaps Dublin could put a nice big star on their jersey, like the soccer teams do, to satisfy their fans obviously desperate need for such things.

Was thinking similar particularly In midfield and in the half back line, still be next year before we know it and be nice to see the lads have a good tilt at the U20 final. Maybe some are already in at training.

Sad about Rory isn't it. Was hard to believe we would have done so well when he left, but we really developed probably the most mobile backlines in the game when we left and turned his lost into an advantage. The days of a big man on a big man maybe over. Still he owes the Dub5 nothing.

That's a very broad definition of humour you have there...

She's a curse, would have been a mighty night I'm sure, hopefully the players stopped of at the Offie for a couple of packets of crisps for after the game! Maybe lift a couple of bottles in honour of the lads tonight and enjoy!

Winning in a nice habit to develop, well done to all involved.

Imo Rory was the last of the natural full backs. A very solid player and I never saw him destroyed in a game and I've seen some great full backs take bad beatings. However his hiatus took from him I think but def owes Dublin nothing.
