Roughly 50 persons players, mentors ect ect at €100 per head = €5000 for Accommodation only no including food and other things, all just to play Kerry in a League match! I wonder will it be 5star Hotel?

Best of Luck to both Kerry and Donegal...it has the makings of a very entertaining game, pitty it wasn't Live on the TV at 7pm Saturday."
I believe Donegal asked for the game to be moved to an earlier time as it is such a long journey home afterwards.

If it's not 5 star it should be... if you don't understand the need for an overnight for the purpose of a 11/12 hour round road-trip then I can't help you. Maybe you should meet the team bus in Galway en route with a poster held high in protest?

Waste of money in my opinion.
A few Coaches would have worked out alot cheaper. All the players get to sleep on the way down and the way back.
I most certainly don't get the purpose of a overnight for a League game at a cost of over €5000 not in the current situation.
Plenty of ventilation in cattle trucks too!

€100 a head. You are having a laugh. Every hotel in the country would be delighted to book a county panel and all the back up staff at a fraction of the price in these difficult times.

I'm not a big fan of the ghost noise. Id rather the rare privilege of hearing what the players, refs and managers have to say to each other during the match. Just my own opinion of course.

Couldn't have the waens listening to what the Donegal Tyrone lads will be saying to be each other Sunday week! It was tame last weekend!

It was very tame. Straight knockout will set a different tone id say. You might have to endure 70 mins of 'come on Tyrone!' chants for the kids sake ;)

At least we only have one McGee involved these days! There was a time when Eamon, Neil and Peter were on the panel!

The only "moment" last weekend was when Murphy and McKenna sized each other up. As one local journalist said on Twitter, car alarms went off in the town after their collision!

LOL very good! Looking forward to seeing them go head to head again. Even though Donegal got the win at the weekend its still a very tough one to predict for me. Has a real Derry v Down 94 feel to it. Whoever comes through it should have a good swagger about them and a chance to go far this year.

Yeah look we're all aware that the whole championship is on a knife edge with the Covid situation and obviously there are way more important issues to be worrying about at the present time. But it is a nice wee distraction for a few hours every weekend. If Donegal do beat Tyrone they'll be big favourites to win Ulster again and maybe, just maybe we'll get a crack at the Dubs.

Peter was never as bad as the two bucks for the chit chat in fairness!

Serious stuff starts now especially next Saturday in Clones. Monaghan completely blown away in Breffini last year by outstanding Cavan display. Hopefully we can least put up some kind of challenge to Cavan this time round but hard to see much of a change and with armagh donegal and tyrone other side of draw Cavan will already be thinking of another Ulster Final and to go one better than last year.
