Clifford's Red Card

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Its just a discussion because David is so talented.Yes he is targeted like a lot of great forwards but whatever about retaliation he should nt have to resort to foul play himself. Most of the posts here are very fair so lets not take it personally when people make points we don't agree with.

How many times has John small been sent off in the last 12 months? Will we start a thread about him?"
Despite your whataboutery, Clifford was guilty of a red card offence, unprovoked, and got away with it so spare us all the yerra tears. He gives it and he takes it and fair play to him, but lets not pretend otherwise.

Careful now or else you'll have to set up another Concern appeal thread for poor underprivileged David ;)

Why are ye all so worried about King David all of a sudden? Are the nerves getting to ye all ready?

Look dublin will still get all the gaa money plus home advantage and a pick of the home town reffs, and we mightened even make the final this year so relax.

I don't think the Dubs are getting nervous but on this forum they prob getting sick of your excuses.im a a true Kerryman living in Dublin and would love nothing more than to beat them but I have the greatest of respect for them.they have been magnificent champions and the majority of the Dub supporters are the soundest crowd one could meet.Yes Dublin get the most money from the Gaa but we in Kerry don't have money problems ourselves and get plenty of help from the usa.Yes they play mostly in croker but thsat was always the case and we didn't complain when e were winning. So just get over it .We will beat Dublin again in the championship when we are good enough simple as.For the moment just enjoy the journey.

That Mes fella was talking about all things pathetic on here last week, but is there anything more pathetic than a fella masquerading as someone from another county and getting his other profiles or his cronies to complement him and have conversations with him!!!

Surely to God ye have some work to do during the day? Then again some of ye are the moderators too - God help us!

Clifford a big loss. His club will have to do it the hard way. It can though shake up the team mates who might otherwise have been overly-reliant on him

In Darragh O Se's time the Kerry county board would have left him off

Different circumstances but I know where you re coming from.Darragh o Se was sent off in a club game(straight red) 2002 and he would ve missed all Ireland semi v Cork so it was changed to a yellow.Ref was persuaded to say he meant to give yellow for the greater good of Kerry football.Clifford wont miss a county game so it not a county problem. You have a great memory Eddie

True, but it shows how far we've come as a county.

Our county board should be commended for doing the right thing for David.

Glad his red card was upheld, it's time the rules were applied fully and fairly for everyone, too many of these big name players get away with things, he might learn from it.
