His isolationist policies have made things far worse than the way the world was under Obama.

That is a terrible take. Yes a CIA program called Timber Sycamore provided training and weapons to Syrian rebels fighting against the regime of Bashar al-Assad, and some of those arms ultimately ended up in the hands of Islamic State fighters. However, the theft and smuggling of the arms were unintended and not the result of a deliberate policy or instructions from President Barack Obama or any part of his administration, which actually set up a separate program to arm and train Syrian rebels to fight Islamic State, specifically. Temporary banning from certain countries wont be standard across the world in a few eyars. KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 1636 - 16/10/2020 16:47:22 2298134 Link 2 |
Why is no one ripping Obama apart for slaughtering countless innocents? It appears to me that being offended is far more important than world peace. Idiots should be careful what they wish for. lilypad (Kildare) - Posts: 1357 - 16/10/2020 17:15:23 2298141 Link 8 |
Spot on lilypad, while I'm sceptical of Donald Trump myself, Obama wasn't questioned enough he also told a mostly black community in Flint Michigan that their lead poisoned water was safe to drink. If that was Donald Trump there would have riots on the streets and the democrats calling for his head.

Did Trump not suggest that people should drink a bleach based concoctions of disinfectants while awaiting for a vaccine.?

I hear you supersub and agree. Iike I say I'm no fan of Trump and he is rightly called out on his b.s but i just agree on the point with lilypad that Obama has his dodgy points too that he never got called out on or criticised for, before you say fox news I'm talking about credible news sources.

There was plenty in media criticising obama and his policies and not just fox.

A 2 hour show and they can't even show 1 second of the hurling games yesterday and in fact just about mentioned them at the end. Can even show us a few highlights of the Camogie Championship games after they went through all the NFL games. If they had of cut the oxygen from the two men in the studio for even 6 minutes they could have shown 2 minutes from each of the hurling games. Well at least they showed full highlights of a Div. 4 football game. Baby steps...

OK but I thought it was still the best ever version of the show. They did show camogie and Division 3 and one Division 4 game... Much better than their normal offering.

There was no outrage whatsoever, could you imagine if Trump had resided over that, the internet would break.

Joe Molloy of off the ball calling for the GAA to cancel the season. The rugby crowd are really having a dig at the GAA brisbane (Galway) - Posts: 486 - 19/10/2020 22:53:17 2299437 Link 2 |
They cant be having Rugby games, Soccer games and on the other hand calling to cancel GAA... Personally I think they should have just completed the club finals before the Inter County recommenced - heaven knows when these last few remaining games will take place now... It was the ott celebrations of a few which put a stop to these... Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 3309 - 20/10/2020 14:03:22 2299606 Link 2 |
You can when the rugby and soccer games in question are professional and all people involved in the rugby at least are full time pros be it the players, coaches and match officials and its their livlihoods. The soccer has full time pros but some part time.... Its different to the GAA. KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 1636 - 20/10/2020 14:25:39 2299617 Link 0 |
Galway Uniteds last manager was a teacher many of the soccer players have jobs aswel. Stop trying to make out its some elite level organisation compared to the GAA because everyone knows its quite the opposite. The Government slogan on rte is "STAY LOCAL" but sure let play international rugby games lol Remember the virus was imported from Italy? Remember the Italian fans partying in Temple bar last spring? many who flew in from a high covid infected area. brisbane (Galway) - Posts: 486 - 20/10/2020 18:32:01 2299684 Link 6 |
Shouldn't matter whether the sport is professional, semi-professional or amateur. What matters is how vigilant that sport is in combating COVID19. Unless we have a new choosy-COVID strain that distinguishes between amateur and professional sports people before deciding to infect them.... International rugby games where players and all involved in game are tested on very regular basis and attendance that is limited compared to who are normally in attendance at a game

The virus doesn't care if you're pro or amateur. I'm assuming pros have families too and go shopping and meet people. It's a ridiculous argument. the games are on deal with it Barrowsider (Carlow) - Posts: 1308 - 20/10/2020 22:35:40 2299769 Link 3 |
