Was actually on that pitch in Inistioge two summers back - not playing, was just down for a few days in the Kilkenny area and we stopped in Inistioge for an ice cream and a dander. I did wonder to myself how many balls end up in the river as there isn't much land between it and the sideline in one corner in particular. As for scenic club grounds - we are blessed with a number of them up around the Glens in Antrim where the location and/or views from are quite impressive: Cushendun, Cushendall, Glenariff, Glenravel, Glenarm, Ballycastle off the top of my head. In my opinion, Kinnitty GAA grounds at the foothills of the Slieve Bloom mountains, is one the nicest grounds in Offaly. There is a nice view of the mountains, and with a forest walk bordering on one side, it's a lovely site. Rath GAA grounds, home of Drumcullen hurlers, and not too far away is another one, bordered by a demesne wall, with a view of Knockshegowna hill on the Offaly/Tipp border is not bad. Where was that ground in Tyrone where the pitch didn't quite fit into the available space because of a river, so they just drew a diagonal across the corner to create the first ever pentangular GAA pitch ?
