The team that has competed the best with Dublin has nothing to do with Dublin? What are you talking about?

Not sure why I'm bothering but you said Kerry have played second fiddle to Mayo for a decade. My reply had nothing to do with Dublin. It was a direct comparison of their records against each other over that time. I think that was a reasonable reply to your point.

Were you simply saying Mayo lost 'better' to Dublin? Wow, they must be proud of that.

You often get involved and throw handy digs at Kerry and then want to accuse others of ruining threads etc. Look in the mirror my good man. You are every bit as bad as any poster on here, and a hypocrite on top of it.

You'd no answer to any of the points I raised where I knocked back everyone of your points so resort to the gutter. Fair play to you.

There's nothing stuck in my anatomy never mind something Kerry shaped, ut if it gives you comfort thinking that then more power to you.

And its good of you to admit you're outmatched."
You're no Meath man. I've many Meath friends and none are Dublin sycophants.

You seem to be allowed say anything you want on the forum.. Interesting.

I think in the overall scheme of things the 1982 and 2010 All Ireland finals will probably rank as the biggest missed opportunities. Considering what a win would have meant for both counties in terms of it delivering a unique achievement then I think they will be occasions that are spoken about when the history of the GAA's great teams are discussed. Kerry probably came closest to winning their 5th in a row but a lapse of concentration or a little bit of the rabbit in the headlights perhaps meant they just couldn't manage it and the rest is history. Considering they won All Ireland very shortly afterwards again I think this highlights just how much the occasion got to them and meant that elusive piece of history wasn't to be. Of course Offaly fully deserved all the credit they got and played some great football on the day but I think most people watching that game would say Kerry had the opportunities to put that game to bed and failed.

What's a keeryman joke? If you're going on the windup at least try and get your spelling right.

Did you never consider that you and others are part of the issue in that case?

This thread is a perfect example. Comment after comment slaying Kerry, and in the same breadth tut tutting at Kerry posters who ruin the forum for everyone apparently. Jimbo even made special appearance on this thread to get a sly dig in which was delightful.

The mantra that Kerry posters are the one and only problem on the main page is repeated so often at this stage that it's accepted as fact and some very unhelpful behaviour from other posters like yourself gets completely overlooked because of course they are 'right'.

The attitude of many on here reminds me of the absolute gouls you'd meet nowadays that'll tell you about their recent trip to the beach with their family and how appalled they were at the crowds and lack of social distancing, blissfully and hilariously unaware that they are just as much a part of the problem as everyone else.

You'd have to laugh at the arrogance and stupidity of some people all the same.

I often wonder if Colm Coyles kick had bounced wide or John Madden and come out and met it...if we had won that 1996 final would we have won another one or more since?

Great to see you're joining in with the Kerry men and throwing personal insults. I most certainly am a born, raised and educated in Meath gael.

And then you have the balls to contradict yourself and say I'm allowed say anything I want.... haven't you just used the same privilege????

Genuine Meath gaels have the height of respect for Dublin and it cuts both ways. We're not a challenge to the dubs right now but most Dubs would admit they love a good Meath team as iron sharpens iron. I hate them for the 70 minutes of a match but I'll shake their hand after a match and wish them well whatever the result. Its the foundation of our games you wish your opponent well, things are left between the white lines and you don't complain about it.

Dublin sycophant. So I can't respect Dublin for what they have done and how they've done it. They have their house in order and structures in place to bring through a production line of players. That's to be admired.

As the son of a Waterford parent I absolutely despise the Kilkenny jersey but it doesn't mean I don't respect them and their achievements. Again KK have their house in order, they've gone about things properly and have a pipeline of players coming up at all times. Its to be admired.

You wouldn't see me whinge like a baby about these things, but maybe that's just the tougher breeding we have up here in Meath.

I think everyone is thinking the same thing "here comes the multi's", just when you think the thread couldn't get any more ridiculous.

Its a car crash of a meltdown and much dignity lost. I think the take home here is to separate the personalities from Kerry GAA, who i know most users would have a lot of time and respect for as a sporting institution, myself included. I am honestly feeling for the users in question here, hopefully this thread ends soon.

Sending best wishes to all,

I think TBF to you Yew_Tree, you'd likely have won multiple more. That game is a real sliding doors moment in Gaelic football history. I think you'd have had the confidence going into the 97 final as all ireland champions to have knocked off a poor Kerry team dragged to an all ireland title on that day by a supreme performance by Maurice Fitz. And who knows after that.

Look at the dubs and what winning in 2011 did for them. there's no reason to believe you couldn't have gone on to win multiple more. The monkkey wouldn't have been on the back and the current crop probably would've won a couple too.

Don't worry Breezy, I'm well able to stand up to them. As i say us Meath lads don't start arguments we can't finish. And if i can't deal with a keyboard warrior attacking me, I might as well hang up my keyboard... but in the immortal words from Gladiator .... But not yet ;)

That's gas considering you are a confirmed multi yourself. Remember when you were caught red handed after forgetting to log out of your 'Mayo' moniker.

Never change lad, you give us all a good laugh when you start your pontificating.

Right here. It's an easy thing for the Administrator to do to check ISP's and see if there are multiple accounts. Please check mine and TheUsernames Admin. In the interests of fairness please check the Kerry posters as-well please given the suspicions around their posts and multiple accounts. It's spamming the message boards at this stage. Thank you.
