If county managers get there players for one training session per week. I think everybody would be happy. If players want to train a night a week with there county let them there amateur players and nobody owns them . Don't treat them like children. This is the biggest storm in a tea cup. Why not stop inter-county football all together? Jesus. I bet you the lads want to train with the county themselves as they know it would be a level above what they do with club and these guys are competitive. The pundits and officals mouthing about county teams training will be the very ones who will hop off teams and players in the national media in a few months if they do not put in a performance. Surely there is a middle ground here, as other posters have suggested the county manager could have one session per week. Banning county teams from training is nonesense. I honestly think he's been caught rotten again mes and not for the first time. Advancedmark just answered a post that was directed to username and again not for the first time. I'd expect most counties will try and prepare their teams as best possible without crossing the line. I know a fairly obvious statement. It's a thin line though.
