Just read a reasonable article in today's paper on Carlow's Daniel St Ledger, 13 years he gave to Carlow football through thick and thin (mostly thin) his impressive career was prematurely cut short by a head injury / concussion, he assessed the situation and then announced his retirement. I understand Daniel is not on his own when it comes to injuries and premature retirements but when it comes to a player of his quality and playing for a div.4 county he is on his own.

I would like to wish Daniel good health, and to say enjoy your retirement young man.
