Quite, it can work the other way round too. I found your reaction entertaining after we dumped you out of the championship again last year.

Dublin are a fine team and would have won plenty this decade.
But would they have dominated to the extent no other team ever has, winning a 5 in a row, without the massive funding, sponsership etc thats been pumped into them- no they wouldn't. And I think that's a very reasonable point to make. Even Michael Duignan, a Co Chairman, was coming outmaking the point on the radio this week.
And this stage I'm actually concerned people like yourself (ie those not having aDublin jersey stuck to them) are still trying to argue anything else given all the evidence.

But then again there's people that think climate change is a cod and Covid is caused by mobile phones....
But sure I'm just whinging, yerra ya"
I post on the limerick homepage usually and come onto the main forum rarely enough as it's predominantly about football and hurling comes first for me.
My gripe is simply this, nearly every thread I go onto these days, no matter what the subject is, seems to turn into a complaint about Dublin dominance from Kerry supporters.

Maybe its a provincial thing, but I've seen Kerry utterly destroy all opposition in Munster for fun apart from the occasional battle from Cork.
Kerry have sauntered their way to all Ireland's through the decades without having to break a sweat until the semi finals.
When Kerry were winning 4 in a rows in times gone by they reminded me of Dublin today, or the great Kilkenny hurling team of 05-15.

All of these teams were an absolute machine. Driven by a desire to win as much as possible and these days it just happens to be Dublins turn.

Maybe I'm missing something darker at work but I don't think so. And for what it's worth I think Kerry will win the all Ireland this year (unless the mobile phone disease kicks off again)

Lets be honest here , its 2-3 Kerry lads on here who consistantly ruin threads by managing to find a way to whinge about Dublin .

I find the best time to 'dump' a team out of the Championship is on All Ireland final day, wouldn't you agree? sort of lives longer in the memory than defeats in earlier rounds. of course there may ne exceptions like a replayed game in Limerick I really enjoyed.

Ha I noticed no one here saying Limerick.

Nothing hurts more that realising you are irrelevant in the eyes of your rivals

The opposition in the All Ireland final, whoever that may be. The odds are against us. Need to be mentally stronger, a lot stronger, do what it takes. A lot of the time our toughest opponent is ourselves. December 19th has a nice ring to it, sure aren't green and red the Christmas colours.

And yet we are the only county in the last 100 years outside of Cork to beat Kerry (alleged aristocrats of the big ball) 3 years in a row in the championship. Not bad given we would be meeting them no more often than anyone else outside of Munster. All counties have a nemesis. Beating Dublin would be very sweet for us on that basis.

For the record in hurling beating any of the big 3 is good although beating Cork in a final would be the ultimate.
In Football Dubs, Kerry as above and yourselves.

Just said it was a slow burn Kiloughter. I'll concede, if us Mayo supporters can keep the faith for 69 years and counting maybe Galway supporters can just as convincingly maintain a grudge for 86 long ones! Definite fact... only one of us can end our wait this year and will need to win Sam to do it.

Only three teams have beaten the so called 'Big Three' on the way to AI victory in Hurling ( Waterford in 57, Clare in 97 and Limerick in 2018).
