A vintage year for sure. Be interesting to go through the minor championship each year and see what players made the most impact on senior.

Richie Hogan made his championship debut in 2008 too.

Mad to think how he was so prodigious that he could get a starting spot on that great Kilkenny team before TJ Reid did, and now the latter is regarded as one of the best ever.

They are/were both class players. It'll be hard to find their likes again.
