You might be very thankful to the small farmers in a few months catch, everyone talking about isolation over the last 6 weeks! well welcome to the life of the farmer, often working in dangerous conditions with no one around to help if we get into trouble, even last week in Clare a young lad was killed on a farm, I know of many myself. Not everyone gets to walk into a nice warm sanctuary of an office every day. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 11732 - 02/05/2020 18:44:37 2277313 Link 3 |
They certainly cannot and isn't it well I know it and taxed to the hilt too and the worry of whether or not you'll have a job at all. No free dinners in the real world Tom.

Sad always to see people loose income - as always with these things it will be the majority on lower pay who will be the worst hit those working in hospitality, ticketing, programes, security, bars, food, corporate events, grounds people, coaches etc - these people will have responsibilities and bills hopefully its temporary. Symbiotic? Most of us counties do have that relationship with the gaa but the word to use with dublins relationships with the gaa is ectosymbiosis where one lives off another, that be ye living off the gaa.
