After GAA sports, which sport is your next favourite? Myself, I like a lot of different sports (horse racing, rugby, cricket...), but as a Spurs fan for over 50 years, it has to be soccer.

Rugby followed by soccer, used to be the other way around but the pre madonna nature of alot of players and the mercenary element has turned me off soccer in recent years.

Huge sports fan in general I most add, 1 exception is NFL never grew on me, for the superbowl in 2012 I had just came home after spending the previous 10 or 11 months in Vancouver, so with no job lined up at the time I said I'd stay up watch it, I didn't even make it to half time I found it that boring.

Soccer for me as well. It has gotten way to big for its boots financially but when you see the latter stages on the Champions League, it still is a brilliant game. The technique and tactical awareness required to play soccer at that high a level is ridiculous. Not to mention the pace, strength and athleticism aswell.

Absolutely.

I used to be a big soccer fan but I began losing interest around 1990.

A toss-up between racing and snooker for me.

Would've been soccer mad for the first 30 years of my life, but I suppose ones tastes and interests in all walks of life change as we get older.

Snooker isn't a sport.

It's a skilful game but it doesn't have that element of physical effort to make it a sport.

I actually much preferred the nature of the pre-madonna era players. Up to the early and mid 80s, when Madonna became a mainstream performer, soccer players tended not to dive and roll around as much.
It's today's prima donnas that would put me off the game to be honest.

basketball my second sport followed by badminton fostered in a lot of very pokey parish halls all over the county in the 80s with macra meetings going on in the corner

Soccer for me as well. Although I've no connection to any of the teams, the knockout stages of the champions league is enthralling viewing. You also can't beat the buzz around the world cup. The English premier league is definitely over hyped though, match of the day is all I really watch on that.

I also like snooker and definitely consider it a sport!

Loved soccer as long as I can remember but dont really follow any particular club team with much enthusiasm anymore.
Got into cycling when I started to commute by bike about 10yrs ago and Im absolutly hooked now

I like a lot of sports, but I'd probably have rugby as my second favourite behind Gaa, with darts a very close third and golf and boxing sparring for fourth spot (pun somewhat intended).

I also enjoy horse racing (great to attend), tennis, NFL (some outstanding games last season), cricket (to a lesser extent) and MMA (provided they're up striking and not hugging each other on the floor)

Finally I like soccer a lot and love the bigger games but I find it's on far too much, there's a barrage of games on most weekends and nice helping during the week as well, complete overexposure as far as I'm concerned.

Golf. I might take it up too as I think it might be good professionally in my work.
Otherwise, I absolutely hate rugby and soccer. I hate watching rugby players getting broken to pieces every week, soccer is just so meh, full of cheats and dodgy dealers of agents, and the money, etc involved is just sickening in my view.
I love the fairness of American sports systems of drafts, salary caps, etc but the sports are all rubbish beneath it all. I would watch about 15 minutes of any of them and be asleep.
