Replying To Hoofhearted: "Now this was a surprise. I would have expected the Rossies to have put up a better show. Are Galway really that good ? or was this a mediocre Roscommon team ? The early Galway goals seem to have knocked the stuffing out of this game as a competition. I feel for the young Roscommon lads, cos I don't think they are as bad as the scoreline reflects. And in the same vein I don't think Galway are as good as the scoreline would imply. Kerry in the semi's will be a different proposition, I think that this is going to deliver the eventual winners of the All Ireland final. Tyrone are going to drag Dublin down to their level and might just scrape a win, but the Kerry and/or Galway teams have way too much football for either Tyrone or Dublin." You've seen a whole lot of the Dublin and Tyrone under 20 games this year then?

Galway have a hugely talented middle 8. I'd say it will be some battle between themselves and ourselves. If I had to predict I would say the winner will come from that semi final. The main worry I have about Kerry is an overreliance on Ruaidhri O'Beaglaoich in the full forward line. Donal O'Sullivan who would probably be our best player but is injured is a huge loss here. Sean Quilter will start inside with Beaglaoich the next day I'd say as Paul O'Shea will move out to half forward or midfield where he is much more effective.

Replying To panamasam: "So another Leinster for Dublin. The months training and insistence (cause they can afford to) on keeping their under twenties away from the senior set up had paid dividend again. Way to go GAA and ur poxy rule changes. Big help to those trying to close gap." So the GAA should just ban Dublin from playing football, the hurling is OK I presume because we lose. Pointless bleating if you have nothing to say.

No just play championship at a more sensible time with no bulls**t rules not allowing players to play if representing involved with their seniors. Like it or not it certainly creates a bias hence why so many have spoken out against it.

The title is going to be decided when Kerry and Galway play, neither of the other two teams possess the footballing skill and ability of Galway or Kerry. My only concern for Galway is that they had such an easy run in Connacht, they could have done with a sterner test along the way to harden them up. The Kerry lads have beaten the Cork team that won the final by 13 points last year and this will stand to them.
Galway football is in a great place, their seniors have to be one of the top 4 favourites to lift Sam this year and their underage teams are on the crest of a wave. Hopefully, they can overcome a very strong Kerry team in the semi's as they always play proper free flowing attractive football. I've a sneaking suspicion that Galway are going to be Dublin's biggest rivals in the next 10 years. I see Mayo and Roscommon going backward in Connacht which will add more fuel to the debate about disbanding the provincials. The Dubs dominating Leinster, Galway dominating Connacht, Kerry dominating Munster. In Ulster you will see good footballing counties like Cavan and Monaghan struggling to get out of Ulster because they are being stopped to play football by the likes of Tyrone, Donegal and Armagh. Mayo and Roscommon football is on a downward trajectory and unless the championship is re-jigged to suit them they will not be in Croke park come the championship in the next decade.
It would be great for football if the tribesmen go all the way this year in the Under 20 and Senior Championship. It would breath some life back into Gaelic football and hopefully the Ulster teams would abandon this "stop the other team from playing" attitude and we can all enjoy Gaelic football as it should be played. Honest, fair and attacking.

Surprisingly very easy win, you'd wonder how the younger team could look more physically adept at this level.
Kerry will be huge step up though and rightly will be hot favourites.

Gaillimh Abu !" Interesting to see Kerry and Galway posters so readily dismissing the other two semi-finalists especially at underage level which can be so unpredictable. I know nothing of Tyrone but I do know Dublin have a serious scoring threat across all six forwards and on their day are more than capable of giving any of the other three a run for their money.

Kerry definitely have the advantage where their bench is so strong that Geaney only came on in the last 10 where they did massive damage to Cork. Galway are doing everything right at under age and have brought O Flaherta with those players to U20 which seems to be working well for them. Tyrone are Tyrone at every age and will be difficult to beat. Young Canavan is exceptional and an example of how to play smart football. Dublin are good and unfortunately gave our lads a good beating in the Leinster Semi Final but I think the scoreline flattered them on the day. Dublin were better if anything against Laois. Their half forward line is very good and they are not over reliant on Archer inside as they were last year. Their tackling is excellent and worth a close look at. A great competition which was so poorly treated by Croke Park schedulers has thrown up the four best teams in the country. Hard to call but it would be Kerry for me.

You obviously werent at the recent Meath Galway game in Navan. Galway are well versed in stopping the opposition from playing.
Not sure how you have completely dismissed the Dublin under 20 team from the reckoning - they beat 2 good under 20 teams in Meath and Laois.

He's not from Galway. I believe he's from Leitrim. There hasn't been one Galway supporter on here dismissing any other team's chances. As I said before the Roscommon game, we have a talented team. However, that game wasn't a fair reflection of where both teams are at. Ros fell to pieces after the first 2 goals. Kerry have a very strong panel and it would be a great result if we managed to beat them. Having it in Croker should lead to an exciting game I hope.

It's nuts taking our game to crokepark and the other game as well, I suppose the gaa are hoping they'll get a massive dublin support but I can't see more than 20,000 at it.
Galway V kerry should be on in limerick or Ennis.
And Tyrone V dublin in Breffni Park.
