Most interesting league we've had in some time it has to be said, and while I am of the 'better safe than sorry' camp, it would be a shame for it to be interrupted. But it's only sport at the end of the day, and people's health comes first. That said, it would be a real shame for the competition to draw to an end before some other talking point hasn't been created that could replace the endless moaning from some royal snowflakes. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 2859 - 10/03/2020 18:40:52 2273284 Link 1 |

Galway fans don't have any issue with the cynical stuff. Our issue is Meaths supporters belief that only one team were at it. Takes two to tango. Meath were as culpable as Galway. Black card at the end which has injured one of the Galway players is was one of the most cynical fouls since Mr. Cavanagh caused Brolly to soil himself. Just Galway fans are willing to admit their involvement in what happened. Anyway it's in the past now. We scraped two points we didn't deserve. Mayo Vs. Galway is no TV. If want to see everything "bad" and basically the destruction of the game then tune in Sunday. Won't be for the faint hearted or the purist. I for one can't wait.

Are you that thick?? I didn't like their antics at the last game them or Joyce LIVING UP TO HIS NAME. That been said prior to that I have always admired Galway , and Down. And a recent appreciation of Donegal due to their fans

Galway got away with it and were much smarter then we were, its something this present meath team need to learn if we want to turn them narrow losses into narrow wins. Think galway should have too much for mayo on sunday and as you said it should be a feisty affair, but then again anything is possible with mayo.

Meath will be missed big time. A handy 2 points for the other 7 teams.

Never saw so much crying going on from the Royals, Galway should just give them the points. The 2 Meaths, East and West should be allowed to merge and they should have their own team ref. Problem solved. maroondiesel (Mayo) - Posts: 1042 - 11/03/2020 09:31:57 2273337 Link 12 |
I must be, because you are still not explaining the comment of him "living up to his name" either. As a footballer Joyce was one of the cleanest I've ever seen and his intercounty management career is only in its infancy so he hardly has much of a name built up yet. Unless it's an issue you have with the Joyce name?

Royaldunne should be allowed ref all Meath games going forward.

Meath might have a reprieve yet if the league is scrapped this year............ TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 3671 - 11/03/2020 14:31:51 2273393 Link 1 |

I have to say, out of all the yoyo teams posters on this forums that the Meath fans were the most entertaining. monaghanmad (Monaghan) - Posts: 208 - 11/03/2020 15:40:54 2273415 Link 9 |
We can agree on something so Mick!

A few Meath lads have done their reputations no favours with all this spiteful whinging. Time to move on lads. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 2859 - 11/03/2020 20:38:11 2273462 Link 4 |

It's a shame certain posters (perhaps with limited intellect, although that's no excuse) haven't the ability to express their frustrations with their own teams limitations and instead attack a legend and gentleman of the game.
