Most interesting league we've had in some time it has to be said, and while I am of the 'better safe than sorry' camp, it would be a shame for it to be interrupted. But it's only sport at the end of the day, and people's health comes first. That said, it would be a real shame for the competition to draw to an end before some other talking point hasn't been created that could replace the endless moaning from some royal snowflakes.

Replying To Royal.Legend:  "I see allot of galway supporters really taking offense to meath fans complaining about there clinical play leading up to half time, if I was from galway I be delighted reading through them posts and even happier with the result in navan, this was a game galway would of lost in the past as they probably would of been down allot more then the four points at half time, unfortunately nice boys dont win the big prizes and as we know with past meath teams you have to be prepared to break the rules from time to time, we know galway have class forwards and on there day they can do serious damage and now we know they can bend the rules when things arnt going so well, so for me joyce is making good progress with galway and hopefully soon they can be a real contender for sam Maguire. Hopefully we meet again in the summer as meath galway games are always interesting and generally always close."
Galway fans don't have any issue with the cynical stuff. Our issue is Meaths supporters belief that only one team were at it. Takes two to tango. Meath were as culpable as Galway. Black card at the end which has injured one of the Galway players is was one of the most cynical fouls since Mr. Cavanagh caused Brolly to soil himself. Just Galway fans are willing to admit their involvement in what happened. Anyway it's in the past now. We scraped two points we didn't deserve. Mayo Vs. Galway is no TV. If want to see everything "bad" and basically the destruction of the game then tune in Sunday. Won't be for the faint hearted or the purist. I for one can't wait.

Are you that thick?? I didn't like their antics at the last game them or Joyce LIVING UP TO HIS NAME. That been said prior to that I have always admired Galway , and Down. And a recent appreciation of Donegal due to their fans

Galway got away with it and were much smarter then we were, its something this present meath team need to learn if we want to turn them narrow losses into narrow wins. Think galway should have too much for mayo on sunday and as you said it should be a feisty affair, but then again anything is possible with mayo.

Meath will be missed big time. A handy 2 points for the other 7 teams.

Never saw so much crying going on from the Royals, Galway should just give them the points. The 2 Meaths, East and West should be allowed to merge and they should have their own team ref. Problem solved.

I must be, because you are still not explaining the comment of him "living up to his name" either. As a footballer Joyce was one of the cleanest I've ever seen and his intercounty management career is only in its infancy so he hardly has much of a name built up yet. Unless it's an issue you have with the Joyce name?

I have to say, out of all the yoyo teams posters on this forums that the Meath fans were the most entertaining.

A few Meath lads have done their reputations no favours with all this spiteful whinging. Time to move on lads.

It's a shame certain posters (perhaps with limited intellect, although that's no excuse) haven't the ability to express their frustrations with their own teams limitations and instead attack a legend and gentleman of the game.
