I was beside some Mayo people in a storm in navan last game and had no issue with them winning - another close game but they won fair and square. Thought we played well enough today good to see some of our injured players come on in the 2nd half again we concede a poor goal due to a silly turnover and the lack of a free taker killed us again until Lenihan came on. As was the case with Mayo another game we let slip but I see a huge improvement since the Donegal game. If Tyrone win against donegal on the Saturday we technically can't be relegated in salthill if Galway win but in reality we would be. It would take an outrageous turnaround in points difference that would be unprecedented if it happened. Galway haven't been involved in much pulling and dragging in games up to now but decided today was the day to do it? Interesting change of a game plan when the previous tactics were working so well. I was in Navan so I'll have to watch the highlights tonight Padraic joyce last week making his way onto the pitch to stop the lads entering the dressing room at the same time as the tyrone lads speaks volumes.
