Rosemount club notes

Rosemount Gaa Annual General Meeting: Our annual AGM has been provisionally set for Sunday the 13th of December in the community centre. Further details to follow.  

It was fantastic to see a recent notice on the Westmeath Independent newspaper that an article titled ‘Rosemount Resurrection’ has being shortlisted for a National Media Award. Well done to the Westmeath Independent Paper,  and reporter Geraldine Grennan.

Congratulations to Aaron Keane and Brian Conlon who recently won an academic award and scholarship offered by NUI Galway. Well done lads. 

Gaa: We ratified our senior manger for the coming 2021 season , with Ian Bradley from Rochfortbridge coming on board. We wish Ian the very best of luck. His management team will be finalised in the coming weeks. 

Best of luck to Emma Kelly, Sarah McCormack, Damien Kelly and the Westmeath Ladies team who take on Roscommon in the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate semi-final this Sunday. The venue is Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Longford , with a throw in time of 1pm. 

Rosemount Christmas cards are for currently for sale. Cost is €10.00 per pack of 12 cards. All Proceeds in aid of St. Thomas’s Church and Community Centre. Cards available by contacting Assumpta Fox, Anita Kelly and Angela Lynam. Cards can also be purchased off Anita Kelly after 3pm outside the national school. Order yours now! 

Our Astro Turf pitch in line with current covid 19 restrictions, is closed until further notice. 

Lotto: Due to level 5 restrictions, our club lotto draw is also suspended until further notice.

Notice: Times for the walking tracks lights are now 7.00 to 10pm every night.

County Convention: The annual county convention takes place on the 17th of December. Any that wishes to put forward a motion to bd submitted, please contact any committee member to do so.
