A young Meath fan has firmly and bravely nailed his colours to the mast of his Dublin city school.

Ahead of the Leinster SFC final showdown between the neighbouring counties, Cumann na mBunscol Dublin have organised an art competition for boys and girls of Dublin to draw and colour their favourite Dubs player.

Masterpieces of Stephen Cluxton, Brian Fenton, Dean Rock, Ciaran Kilkenny and Niall Scully to name but a few were drawn up but one entrant had other ideas by making one of Meath goalscoring sensation Jordan Morris.

The Royal youngster is extremely confident that Meath will continue their rich goalscoring form and dethrone the long-reigning Leinster and All-Ireland champions at Croke Park on Saturday evening by predicting a 14-1 to 1-13 win for An Mhí!

It's a bumper weekend of inter-county championship matches with football deciders in Leinster, Munster and Ulster, two All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals, two Joe McDonagh Cup ties and the Christy Ring and Nicky Rackard Cup finals.
