With the Northern Ireland Executive allowing supporters to attend sporting fixtures, Oisin McConville believes supporters should be allowed to attend the Ulster SFC final.

In the 26 counties no spectators are allowed into games and the GAA have taken the decision that they will not allow any spectators into games held in the six counties either.

Oisin McConville told BBC that he feels that if the Ulster SFC decider on November 22 is played in Northern Ireland, then the GAA should allow spectators in.

"If you look at the stadiums we've been in now the last couple of weeks, a couple of thousand fans - you wouldn't see them,” said McConville. 

"I think people have learned their lesson in terms of celebrating and over-celebrating.

“Here's hoping and praying that when the Ulster final comes, there will be some semblance of fans there."

It is thought unlikely that GAA fans will be allowed into games this year. Indeed, were Donegal and Cavan to qualify for the Ulster final - their fans would not be able to travel to the game under the Level 5 Restrictions currently put in place by the Irish Government.
