Don't see the point of a new thread on this.

Two men who are very generous in giving up their time to referee games throughout the year, who will no doubt get enough stick (as all refs do, good or bad) without them or their families going online and reading a forum

You're worried about the referees getting stick What about the lads that actually play hurling and put in the effort that have to come on here and see themselves and their team mates being slated day in day out. I don't think referees would get as much stick if they actually refereed a fair game and if they weren't so whistle happy.

as you will see i have never slated anyone on here, i admire all referees and thiknk the 2 chosen are deserving and capable,

So a post about the merits or otherwise of referees is allowed to be posted, but the chairman's resignation isn't allows be discussed. Makes sense...
