Fair play to kildalkey , easy winners on sunday , kiltale can have no complaints with the result. hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 23/10/2019 17:00:34 2245286 Link 0 |
Very hard on a group of lads to have a title taken away by a poor referee decision. Was surprised Morris got final in the first place. Meathgaalad (Meath) - Posts: 120 - 23/10/2019 17:45:56 2245305 Link 0 |
Who is a better team than they have been ? since start of 2000s the kildalkey 3 in a row team were only team to come close and they never won a match in leinster. kiltale lost 2 very close finals in 14 and 15 to kilkenny teams and they should prob have won at least one of them. 16 semi to carrickshock ref done them no favours , and the locals in our county could not give information fast enough to them which is poor form and id hope kildalkey dont get that done to them this year. hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 23/10/2019 18:59:41 2245313 Link 1 |
Kilmessan only team to win Leinster in meath in 2008. Nowlan park against a strong Erin's own team. Very unlucky in all ireland semi with some poor refereeing decisions going against them.

Kildalkey had it done to them in 2012 by a prominent Meath man who also sourced a helmet for a prominent Kilkenny player. We all know who the Meath man is who done this.

Sorry, that was a typo; should have been 2010 and not 2012.

Have you proof or just putting two + two together ? honest question Kildalkey were beat out the gate so im not sure they could blame one mans info even if true hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 25/10/2019 13:24:29 2245708 Link 0 |
Good team but somehow never built on that and didnt win another championship so not sure how that would be called better but for sure a great season for kilmessan A great team has consistency and longevity over more than 1 season hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 25/10/2019 13:30:42 2245710 Link 0 |
Build on what, the bulk of that Kilmessan team had won, I think 3 in a row 02 - 05 so the 08 success was built on those years AND they did win another championship 2013 when Kiltale went asleep against Longwood in the second half of the semifinal.

Yeah, proof came by the way of the Dansfort players and management telling Kildalkey after the game!! And correct me if I'm wrong but the score was 18-10 that day with Richie Hogan getting 12pts. Hardly beat out the gate. Tobefair80 (Meath) - Posts: 30 - 28/10/2019 21:11:25 2246357 Link 0 |

This page reminds me a bit of the Shawshank Redemption where all the prisoners claim they're innocent and they're only in jail because of bad lawyers. CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1391 - 02/11/2019 19:27:42 2247270 Link 8 |
Hurlit its sad to see you still have a obsession with kildalkey and its environs.i was at both co finals this year.the first day kildalkey owned the game for 55 mins and kiltale had apurple patch for five mins.so neither team deserved to lose.the second day kildalkey well on top and even your jaundiced eye should have been able to see that.seir keiran the better team today and tullaroan and themselves should contest final.paddy Connelly and sean heavey big losses for kildalkey .still would not have won but definitely closer.great credit should be given to pat o Halloran and co for retaining title after long spell.no team in meath would have been seir keiran today.hurlit try to be more positive .you are the most negative contributor tp this forum.
