I would go to more games if a pass was available at a a discounted rate..10 euro a game is quite steep

County board can't win no matter what they do.

Cancel the game entirely and people will give out. "Why couldn't they play it in Navan/Trim/Ashbourne/Croke Park?!! Players sitting around doing nothing, a disgrace etc. "

Move the game days earlier and you'll have the original host club giving out saying the pitch was fine and would dry up in time for the game. I've seen it before where groundsmen claim a pitch is fine even when it's more water than land. I cynically think they hope the game gets called off at the last minute in the hope they also get to host the refixture.

Move the game to a better pitch at a few hours notice and you've people giving out saying they got no notice. This despite the fact it takes about 2 minutes to check the Meath website before you leave to know what pitch the game is on.

Tenner is fair for any working person. Child/student passes should be available for anybody in full time education maybe at a €25 club game and €60 club and home county pass to all games bar county championship. ( would not be a bad christmas present). I would argue that OAP go free!

With this new stadium needing to be paid for you think the county bled might do a trial run of a weekend pass. Think €25 would be fair price and see how it goes.

Obviously I didn't put in a 5 match weekend pass but if that's what some people do by all accounts reward them with a pass that allows them attend at a reduced rate. It's only fair. I ment the tenner for a working man was for somebody attending their local club game. Credit to you going to all them matches

it is steep, the annual pass for €200 is the only way to go, it's the business

In Louth Wee have the Championship pass which just costs 20 euro for the weekend. This covers matches in all grades from Thursday to Sunday and you could nearly watch eight matches if you have spare time and willing to travel.

I agree the annual pass is the way to go - not sure about the cost that should be put on it. I expect that it would raise additional funds for the County Board that would be useful for development.

In 2 years 100% increase is disgraceful. 10 euro for junior or in a lot of cases your clubs second team is totally wrong.

100% agree. Was at a junior a game in ratoath charged €10 in and the scoreboard wasn't even in use. Should be a fiver for the group games in the championship and then an increase for knockout games.
