The thread is about Championship player of the year not player of the league !! You can bang on about "haters gonna hate" and all that crap Royaldunne but the simple fact is Graham Reilly flopped in the 2 biggest games of the year ,He was terrible !! I have spoken to plenty of Meath fans who were saying alot worse than me let me tell you !! graham Reilly is average at best!! My image of him is hands on the hips puffing away !! The only thing he done against Donegal in the 2nd half was balloon a ball into the air going for a score !!

Burke is my player of the championship, most consistent by far and I would have him as captain next year. Menton didn't put a foot wrong in most games but he didn't stand out either and struggled against Kildare and Donegal's midfield. Lenihan was probably our most dangerous forward over the 4 games but he still didn't shoot the lights out either while McGill was solid in every game apart from Kildare. DONT think Micky Burke deserved it at all, was no doubt conor McGill or Donal Lenihan, the two most solid players this year with McGill not having a bad game this year Meathfootball1 (Meath) - Posts: 5 - 03/11/2017 14:21:04 2060110 Link 0 |
