Colm O’Rourke is back at the helm of Simonstown Gaels for a fourth time and has said it could be his final job in football management.

The Meath All-Ireland winner and Sunday Games Analyst brought Simonstown to county finals in 2003 and 2004 before leading the club to a first Meath SFC title in 2016 and retained the title in 2017, after which he stood down from the role.

Explaining why he is coming back for a fourth time, O'Rourke outlined the enjoyment he gets from being involved with a team;

"Why does anybody be involved? I suppose it is the fun we all get from it," he told the Simonstown website. "I knock great enjoyment out of the players, I don't know whether they knock the same enjoyment out of me! That's what has kept me coming back." 

Linked with the Meath senior job on many occasions in the past, O’Rourke says he might not have many more football management roles left in him: “You get to a point in time where you are not going to be in management for too much longer when you get into your 60s so maybe it is the last time I will be involved with a team, I don't know."
