Louth: Louth GAA have announced the appointment of Mickey Harte as their new senior football team manager on a three year term. The Tyrone man is one of the most successful managers in the country with three senior All-Irelands and an All-Ireland minor title and also two U21 titles with his native Tyrone. Gavin Devlin will be joining Mickey as assistant manager and both men will also take charge of Louth’s under 20 team.

Draw: Wee County Double House draw is still on and will now take place on 4th April 2021 Tickets are available from any O’Connells committee member or online from www.pickahouse.ie. Anyone who has bought their ticket before midnight on black Friday November 27th will be automatically entered into a draw for €1000. 

Double House Draw Christmas promotion is underway “The 12K’s of Christmas” a play on the twelve days of Christmas will see €12,000 being shared out among 12 winners (€1000 each). The draws will take place from 13th December to 23rd December with the final draw taking place on December 27th at the Louth GAA monster drive-in bingo. So anyone who has bought their ticket before midnight on December 12th will be included in each of the twelve draws.                                                                                                        

Charity: Louth GAA are pleased to say that a number of our senior players and staff have accepted a challenge and will be swapping their beds for the sleeping bags on Friday 4th December in Darver to help raise much needed funds for Dundalk Simon Community. Bingo: Louth GAA presents MONSTER DRIV-IN BINGO on Sunday 27th December in Darver Cenre of Excellence at 1pm. €20,000 in prizes to be won, €100 per book. Tickets for bingo books can now be bought online in advance of the Monster Drive-In Bingo at https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/louth-gaa/.  Ticket can be presented on the day and your book will be issued to you. Coaches: Louth GAA has announced their coaches for their development squads for the upcoming season. At under 14 Jimmy Murray and John Bingham will be in charge. At under 15 David Reid and Johnny Clerkin will be at the reins and at under 16 Mark Lambe, Sean Taaffe, James Hynes and Wayne Callan will have control. Best of luck to all involved with these squads.
