Dearbhaille Beirne

Well done to Dearbhaille Beirne, who on Saturday last played on the Peamount United soccer team that captured the Womens National League title, beating Shelbourne, 3-1. Dearbhaille is a member of the Beirne family that won Irelands Fittest family. She is a member of Mohill Ladies GAA. Her brother Keith and herself were top scorers and best players in their respective finals for Mohill this year. We are blessed to have them in our ranks.

Underage training

Training and running continues for the underage with their coaches under Covid strict rules in the Park. On Saturday last these young men brought the cup they won earlier in the year down to the carpark of Árus Carolan. The elderly residents and the staff were delighted to see these fine young lads throw the ball around for a while. There were happy faces at the windows and Mohill GAA take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff who have looked after our loved ones, risking their own lives during this pandemic. AGM

The AGM of the Club will take place hopefully on Sunday Dec 13 at a venue or a method to be arranged depending on the Covid-19 situation.
