Congratulations to Killian Carroll who has been crowned World Handball Champion for 2018.
Boston-based Carroll got the better of fellow Irishman Martin Mulkerrins (Galway) by 21-16, 21-18 to take the World 4-Wall Elite Men's title in Minnesota today.
The Cork native takes over the mantle from reigning five-time World champion Paul Brady from Cavan who was forced to withdraw in advance of his scheduled semi-final against Irish captain Mulkerrins yesterday due to an ankle injury.
