On the 24th October the Ballymore Ladies team are getting out to run/cycle or walk over 486km (302 miles), the equivalent of covering the length of Ireland in aid of the Michael Mullan Cancer Fund. Michael is a former CBS classmate of All In Fitness coach Jordan.
Mick is fighting cancer for the third time in Boston as there is no treatment available for him here in Ireland. Mick is on his fourth chemotherapy this year, after three failed attempts. He has restarted Cabozantinib and is hopeful that this will start shrinking his tumours while he waits for a cure.
Ballymore Eustace GAA are trying to raise much needed funds to help Mick and his family in these hard times. We hope all members can get behind this great cause.
Well Done Ballymore Ladies And Get Well Mick. We are all sending our best to Boston!

Unfortunately Michael passed away in America on Monday.
He was such a fighter.
Mick is a man aged in his late twenties who has battled a terminal illness for years. at 28 years of age, Mick's death is a tragedy, a devastating loss for his wife Mel, his parents Patch and Pat, brothers Dermot and Ciarán, his in-laws and extended family, and a huge circle of friends, here in Ireland and abroad.

Michael will repose at home with his loving family.
In accordance with government directives and in the interest of public health, a private family funeral will take place. Those who would like to attend the funeral but cannot due to the current restrictions on gatherings are invited to leave a message on the condolence page below.
They can also show their support along the route from Eadestown to Ballymore and at Ballymore Eustace village.

Mick was such a fighter. Fought cancer as a baby, while completing his law degree in trinity where he got a first and then in the states where he had moved to continue his studies in harvard and then in washington for his PhD.

Talented footballer for Eadestown and in Trinity.

RIP Mick.
