Donegal manager Declan Bonner says he definitely sees “room for improvement” within his side following today’s impressive victory over Armagh.
The Tir Chonaill men coasted into a ninth Ulster senior football championship final in 10 years after trouncing Kieran McGeeney’s side by 1-22 to 0-13 at Kingspan Breffni.
Speaking to RTE Sport afterwards, Bonner said they cannot look beyond next Sunday week's clash with either Cavan or Down, who play tomorrow at the Athletic Grounds (throw-in 1.30pm).
"We’ve an Ulster final in seven or eight days’ time and that our only concern at this stage," he stated.
"It was a good performance from our point of view. It was a good, hard-working performance and I thought the lads really applied themselves well. The starting 15 and the guys off the bench all contributed. We’re just delighted to get over the line and get back into an Ulster final.
"We know we started the game well, especially the second quarter where we tagged on a lot of points. The goal was always going to be a big score in the game and it was incredibly finished by Peadar Mogan."
He added: “There’s definitely room for improvement and we’ll go back and analyse that but we’ve a big seven or eight days ahead of us towards an Ulster final.”
