Bridget Mary 'Queenie' Lynn (née Murray), Ballyoate, Mullingar passed away on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017. ' Queenie' was predeceased by her husband Sean and son Padraig (Poggy), who was part of Westmeath's 2004 Leinster SFC winning backroom team. The Lynn name has been synonymous with Shandonagh GAA down the years, with 'Poggy' and her other sons Mick and Tom having represented the club with distinction. Upon her death, Shandonagh GAA expressed its sympathy to the Lynn family as Queenie was a big part of the club for many years.
