Replying To royaldunne:  "Thank you for calling me Mr Dunne. It shows my superiority and your respect. Today was as expected, tired players who wouldn't be looking at anything other than getting over the line against a shocking team (I'd rate one of the worst in ire) who came for their all ire in tip top shape and we still won. It will be light training this week and next the hard graft is over, and teams who will be hell of lot better than than Offaly. Job done like I expected played worse football in 2 years. AND STILL WON."
The Meath team must have took your advice and when on the bear. God you should read out the stuff you write first to yourself before you post it. Facts are if we play like that as we did today we will be beating. Only positive is we won

Replying To royaldunne:  "Last word on this ,If you think Meath were a 100% today you haven't been at a match all year, which is a possibility."
I go to all Meath matches so don't be talking crap , I was working in Donegal the day Meath played cork and I done a 9 hour car trip so I could see the match so have some manners

Replying To royaldunne:  "Perhaps reading it might have helped you. Again I will say it clearer so you MIGHT understand. Kilkenny are useless/rubbish at the moment comparable to Donegal (which means similar) i.e. Donegal are also useless/rubbish. But if the hurler went down to kk we would never hear the end of it.
Is that wrote simple enough for you ???"
kilKenny lost to Waterford by three points after extre time. Waterford got to the all-Ireland final. Donegal lost to a poor Galway team and lost to Tyrone by 15 points to then lost to Dublin by 12. your the guy that the Kildare game of a given. meath are very poor and Andy has not improved things one bit in my opinon

Agendas - 18 Like(s)

Replying To royaldunne:  "Why do so many people have agendas. This place use to be for the purest among us, that lived and breathed Meath football, I'd argue night and day (well until 10p.m) with people of different viewpoints, and some times heatedly, (ask jinxie, Ziggy, loyaltoroyal etc) but despite our differing views we always knew that we had no agendas or axe to grind, our motives were pure. Those days are gone , the anti manager agendas and the man not in job a wet week are pathetic and leave a very sour taste in the mouth, they are some blatent ones an some opaque, but the agenda is always the same, undermining management and in turn undermining Meath football. Sad times"
agendas um what about your agenda last year to snack micko um your wearing two faces with this and have a very short memory

Replying To Jinxie:  "A bit contradictory there? Your' opinion is that he should keep his opinion to himself.... on a message board... which is based on the fundamental concept of people sharing and exchanging views and opinions... You may not have the same opinion as him, but it doesn't me he is not entitled to it, or that yours carries and more weight than his. Most of the county would have had a similar mindset before the game, and even after that close shave, the mindset will still be the same against Carlow. We should be beating those teams and expect to beat them. Simple as that."
Go and read what mr Dunne wrote last night and then get back to me. Talking about we would be able to go out drinking and get with women and still beat offaly

a few weeks ago I tried to understand their reasons for walking away from our Meath team but now I am very angry with them and when you see the effort the lads put in last night it hits home and yes we could have done with them but they can stay on their holidays now and let Andy work again for next year and hopefully he will bring in 5or 6 of the u20s team and take it from there

Mr Dunne hope you learn something from today and keep your opinion to yourself. We have no right to beat anyone we should have lost today only for a lucky goal

Replying To royaldunne:  "Same as that. The worst I've felt all year. Totally and utterly devastated. We were the better team today. And so much for the all singing and all dancing Galway. They showed antics today that would shame any Ulster county"
very true I was actually crying leaving the ground. I have seen some great meath teams in my time but this team is very close to my heart, they never seem to get a break a bounce of a ball a bit of luck. and the amount of negative crap they have to put with thats written about them on social media .

Replying To royaldunne:  "So you want to put a midfielder in half backs ? What are you on, Flanagan is too slow for that position , guess what mod had Shane in that position Andy has him and if someone else came in he would have him too. Why ? cause we ain't got better at the moment."
I am not on about Adam playing there he should be at midfield with Rooney and mention at half back so I know you take on to know everything but maybe if you listen it might help

Replying To grahamc9897:  "So we will Have a look at your team..

David Gallagher to start seriously come off it
No Brian Conlan-Most Promising Player in the County and have to persist with him
No Donal Lenihan-Best Forward Last year
James Mcentee Half Back-He would Be Cleaned out of it
Graham Reilly And Harry Rooney Midfield-A Fit mobile Midfield would Destroy them
Graham Reilly-Can not play there at this Stage of his life
Eamon Wallace-Not the answer for 11 at all and I Have no idea what your thinking would be
Thomas O"Reilly-Hes not a wing Forward and never will be
Ben Brennan-struggling at this level and Nothing I have seen tells me any Different"
our half back line was destroyed yesterday. our goal keeper did not have a good day and his kick outs as been a problem so far all year. Adam at midfield was played out of it yesterday .Harry made a big differences when he came on only a soft black card. midfield is not what is was like years ago and Graham would have the space that he needs to play his own game. Donal kicked away three balls yesterday at a stage of the game where we were getting into to it and is not fit enough yet to start. Ben has not got enough chances yet and everyone was talking about Thomas last year and is now not good enough because he had a bad half against roscommon. and if David is not fit to play in goals why is he there

Replying To MeathWawa:  "Again am unlike a lot of posters here who actually root for meath to be beat. They were two bad performances. She has meath ever dominated a league schedule - 88 , 94 99 We always look awful in the league but that is not a valid excuse anymore. Despite the huge over reaction and wishing meath to do bad I see Meath winning on Sunday by 5/6 points"
this is not the Meath team of the past and please don't insult a man that travelled from the top of Donegal to Tipperary to see Meath play last Saturday week, I always want Meath to win but things are not working out with the team when you say how you feel it don't mean you want your team to lose

we should win by 5 or 6 points I take it you were not in Cavan and tipp then

Replying To royaldunne:  "I'd go for 3/4. But I'll take 1-0 in free taking competition , the result is what matters the most."
why are you afraid of longford so much. they are a division 3 team who have taken a few bigger teams out in the back door over the years but there record in Leinster speaks for itself. yes Meath have lost a good few players but have a bit more faith in the players that are there. Meath by 9 to 12 points
