From seeing toher quite a bit, I think he could do a job at CB for the footballers but understandably committed to the hurlers Irish_downunder (Meath) - Posts: 476 - 12/04/2016 14:10:08 1844706 Link 0 |
MOD had Toher in at the start of the year and he was cut from the panel. Don't think he chose the hurling over the football. begining (UK) - Posts: 277 - 12/04/2016 14:21:29 1844715 Link 0 |
Beginning even if MOD cut him that doesn't mean much as the man has no clue. Also he is one of the best takers of frees in the county.. Irish_downunder (Meath) - Posts: 476 - 12/04/2016 15:00:36 1844746 Link 0 |
I'd agree with you there downunder as he definitely has the skill and physique to play for the footballers. begining (UK) - Posts: 277 - 12/04/2016 15:41:13 1844777 Link 0 |
Not sure is O'Coileann or O'Brien for that matter up to that standard just yet but I'd certainly like to see Toher given a go...any time I've seen him in the last couple of years hes stood out. Oisin O'Reilly wouldn't be in contention, nice footballer but a long way to go! Meathmaster (Meath) - Posts: 251 - 12/04/2016 18:51:06 1844892 Link 0 |

I was very impressed with cian obriens performance at midfield for ratoath on sunday and couldn't help wondering how he didn't get more game time during the national league especially when meath were struggling at midfield. He reminded me of a young liam hayes the way he galloped through the summerhill defence on several solo runs bobjaffacake (Meath) - Posts: 1398 - 12/04/2016 19:14:53 1844901 Link 0 |
Mattimoe played a few times for Meath and is far too small......north Meath lads just desperate for some panel members me thinks southmeathgael (Meath) - Posts: 709 - 12/04/2016 19:19:54 1844905 Link 11 |

I heard Terry Skelly was outstanding at the weekend,I wonder could he be drafted into the Meath squad? ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 19/04/2016 21:03:13 1847407 Link 2 |
Yeah excellent, I made it 3 or 4 points against the Down senior...looked fit and probably what we're missing in and around the middle! Meathmaster (Meath) - Posts: 251 - 20/04/2016 08:23:36 1847426 Link 0 |
he was alright wouldnt say he stood out in fairness drumconrath were very poor the only reason it was so tight was that it was a local derby srgt_slaughter (Meath) - Posts: 462 - 20/04/2016 08:40:46 1847431 Link 0 |
But with our of midfielders Slaughter could he be an option? At least on the panel. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 20/04/2016 08:47:02 1847432 Link 2 |
Certainly an option...let's be honest there's hardly many other midfielders around the county producing stand out performances! Meathmaster (Meath) - Posts: 251 - 20/04/2016 10:59:24 1847513 Link 0 |

Ziggy what about James Loughran the Down player you have with DA. Would he still be up to standard, is he the right age etc? Goldback (Meath) - Posts: 36 - 20/04/2016 20:02:31 1847771 Link 0 |
