Replying To Belt:  "Not true - The JFC and JFCB finals were down for the 24/25th Sept. They probably won't be finished until mid October at the earliest now"
the junior will have to be played by the 02/10/2016 as the Leinster junior starts on the 09/10/2016

Replying To meath00:  "Yeah you're prob right Maestro, suppose Gael Colmcille (semi final 2015) , Skyrne, and Rathkenny (semi final 2013) are poor teams! They missed out on league semi final by one game and feis cup final ... suppose they must've played all poor teams in all comps ... good lad ;)"
Kells aren't the team they were last year, I think they have a few injuries. Seneschals town got a nice draw and they are making the most of it but they will get well bet in the quarter final by Dunboyne or Ashbourne.

Serious win for don/ash in IFC only for the blip v Michaels they would be on 5 from 5. They have a realistic chance of making the IFC final as they can beat ballinbrackey with Colm illes and walterstown on other half of draw. Trim will be their opposition in semi and while trim have decent form they are no world beaters

I think it would be great if the fixtures committee could come out and give the dates for quarters, semis and finals. Surely the likes of junior championships should be finished by now or at least some sort of fixture planner drawn out?
Is the intermediate grade still going to finish on the date given and mean quarter, semi and final all within 4 weeks? Surely someone can fill in the rest of us

ANYBODY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH FIXTURES AND WHEN THE NEXT SET WILL BE ANNOUNCED?

ITS NOT LIKE THEY HAVE CHANGED FIXTURES NUMEROUS TIMES AND LADS MIGHT NEED TO CHANGE WORK OR WHATEVER TO SUIT - LUCKY THAT ISN'T THE CASE.

Wouldn't have really argued with this before but at the same time I never really fancied them this year, it's hard to keep on turning it on at a switch come business end, some upset all the same. Will be interesting to see can Dunshaughlin kick on now against Ashbourne.

5 or 6 teams can still win this to be honest.

Sunday 2 October

SFC quarter-final
Summerhill v Skryne Sunday 2/10/16 18.30pm Ashbourne David Coldrick

SFC preliminary quarter-final
Donaghmore/Ashbourne v Dunshaughlin Sunday 2/10/16 13.45pm Pairc Tailteann Colm McManus

Is there any reason Summerhill v Skryne match is not on same weekend as the other 3 q finals. Leaves the winner with a extra rest and prep time for semi. Seems a little unfair on others.

Would it be because a few summerhill lads involved in the hurling with Kiltale the following week?

Agreed, this championship is wide open although I will keep a keen eye on the winner of Dunboyne v Simonstown, whoever comes out of that will be strong contenders methinks

Will you go away out of that with your sensible answers. There has to be a conspiracy somewhere - otherwise what else do we talk about on the internet. A friend of a neighbour of a cousin of mine told me that there was someone on the fixture committee from skryne who rigged all the games in their favour! Or maybe it was someone from summerhill. One of them anyhow - gospel truth !

Why is the Meath Championship only at Quarter final stage?. Ye start the Club championship in April, and Meath were knocked out early in qualifiers

I was in the stand for the Simonstown against Na Fianna game but someone told me when some of the simonstown supporters on the terrace found out about O'Mahonys losing they were roaring and shouting celebrating because O'Mahonys were knocked out the championship.

Simonstown looked good will be a big boost if Tobin is fit for game against Dunboyne, I haven't seen Dunboyne play this year so I cant comment on how good/bad they are but I cant see Simonstown winning the championship, my money is on Don/Ash at 9/2.
