Just back from the castletown / trim game where I just have to make a comment on the refereeing , some of the decisions that were made were unbelievable . Just couldnt believe what I was watching. hurley1 (Meath) - Posts: 45 - 21/08/2016 16:16:53 1903856 Link 0 |

Trim 0-16 Castletown 0-8. I see that Longwood beat Oldcastle 3-8 to 1-10. Walterstown beat Ultans 2-22 to 0-10. How does that quarter finals work in Intermediate? oldsam_newsam (Meath) - Posts: 638 - 21/08/2016 17:31:45 1903940 Link 0 |

Couldn't go to todays game but I heard Sean Curran was man of the match for D/ASH,plus Dylan Brady roasted Brian Power.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 21/08/2016 17:55:17 1903953 Link 3 |
Ziggy, I wasn't at the game but Oldcastle could have been suffering the effects of an absolute mauling by Trim last weekend.

Indeed but Longwood got a bigger mauling from Walterstown! :)

Ziggy partially that and partially that is was horrendous conditions to play a fast running game. Also missing two lads through injury.

Thanks for that and now to the next question.. Relegation is there just one team to be relegated this season?

One team is going down

Why the top three teams from group A? Works out very badly that way as there's no good teams in that group.

It's been like that way for the last few years. 3rd place team in A goes straight into a quarter. Everyone knows this before the draw is made. Royal_Gunner (Meath) - Posts: 534 - 22/08/2016 15:43:55 1904514 Link 0 |
Well the whole format is stupid to be fair.
