Reckon Pats, Longwood and Rathkenny for the chop and truth be know they are probably the 3 poorest sides in Senior

Cant see Pats beating Na Fianna or Tones as Curraha look safe with healthy score differance

St Colmcilles will have enough I think to handle Rathkenny in the only confirmed game but it will be a struggle

Hard to know who Longwood will play reckon maybe Skryne as OMahonys should win but Seneschalstown are also looking slightly over their shoulder. Skryne will battle like hell to beat Dunshaughlin but even a win might not be enough should Seneschalstown get a result

Kinda amazing but seneschalstown looks over the shoulder came through. Suppose if you concede 8 goals you have no business but they are lucky that they now play a totally demoralized longwood..

My tips to go down out of the Relegation play offs are
Longwood ,Rathkenny & Pats to go down IMO

Longwood - poorest Senior Team Ive seen, think they would struggle to win Inter again TBH
Rathkenny - Think if they do go down will bounce straight back up within a year or two
Pats - Similar to Rathkenny , always likely to spring a surprise and beat a Dunboyne or O Mahoneys
so don't think their stint in Inter would last long

I was surprised to read that this is St. Patrick's 19th season in senior. They seem to always be under the radar, never winning much but never being cannon fodder either.

They're bound to have reached a few Quarter Finals but did they ever reach a Semi Final?

Seneschalstown v Longwood - Hard to see anything but a comfortable win for Seneschalstown, Longwood have been out of their depth at Senior and a score difference of -90 tells its own tale, Seneschalstown to survive with a bit to spare

Rathkenny v St Colmcilles - You would have to fancy Colmcilles to survive here, they have been unlucky in some of their group games not to have got more points on the board and with a score difference of -50 Rathkenny are only second to Longwood in that dubious competition

Wolfe Tones v St Patricks - St Pats have struggled at Senior level for a few years and find themselves looking for a last day survival, Tones wouldn't have expected to be in this position especially after running Simonstown close in the first game and beating Dunboyne in Round 2 but defeat to Curraha hurt them but they should have enough to survive here.

Overall with score differences of -90, -50 and -38 Longwood, Rathkenny and St Pats have been the worse performers in this years championship and consequently it's no surprise that they find themselves where they are and you expect all three to by plying their trade in the intermediate ranks in 2020.

The CCCCCCCCC meet tonight so the fixtures will come out at some stage tomorrow.

Probably on the weekend of the 22nd if clubs aren't affected by hurling or the week after.

How thoughtful of them to meet on a Tuesday night! Almost half way through the week! Why can they not meet on Monday night (which should be the latest) and have the fixtures released that night instead of leaving clubs hanging for another day and a half!

That is just a ridiculous and petty comment. By meeting on the Tuesday instead of Monday it is literally 1 day later not a day and a half, plus its not half way through the week at all, its literally the 2nd day of it. Most clubs train Tuesday and Thursday night so whether the meeting is held on the Monday or Tuesday, for a lot of clubs they will be getting told at the training on the Thursday night anyway. While the county board & fixtures committee have a number of shortcomings, having a go about something like this is just sad.

Reckon St Pats will take Wolfe Tones. Pats were unlucky in a few games I saw.

Yea would agree, Wolfe Tones lost last Sunday to a Na Fianna team that I seen give an appalling performance against Simonstown in the previous round, if the Tones are worse than that they are not a Senior team.

While it's very likely that Tones and colmcilles will survive, both st pats and rathkenny have been here before and relegation play offs are not for the faint hearted, especially this year with only one all or nothing game.

Agree . One thing your going to get with Rathkenny is fight . There going to fight to the death to stay up . Cilles should win but Rathkenny will stay with them for much of it.

Pats yes put up a show against O'Mahonys buts let's call a spade a spade . O Mahonys are awful and were awful against Dunshaughlin too. Pats will not beat the Tones.

Seneschalstown are good up front and at midfield they will maul poor Longwood

Senchlestown at a canter. Longwood, no harm to them, not at standard.

St. Pats will give everything to Wolfe Tones in a hard fought battle, but Tones will probably have too much upfront. I wouldn't be surprised if extra time needed or a replay. I feel Pats will draw on experience of previous relegation performances, whether it's enough, time will tell. Tones for me, but just.

The battle of Rathkenny & St. Colmcilles will be intriguing. Rathkenny' never say die battling attitude will drive them on. It's a question of whether Colmcilles can get the forward unit working. Logic would say yes, as Rathkenny's defense hasn't been as tough as years gone past, but you never know. I think Rathkenny will scrap a battle and stay senior.

Have to agree with you, the Tones look a demoralised bunch right now. people righting off the Pats but they've been here before and survived, Tones to go down unfortunately, no fight left in them.
Poor Longwood will probably get whipped by Sench.
Rathkenny to survive too, by the skin of their teeth.

Cilles wont lose to Rathkenny. Not a chance , not unless they turn up and start hopping around on one leg. Sure Rathkenny will bring fighting spirit, but they are not better than Cilles. If Cilles lose its wont be because Rathkenny beat them but because Cilles will have beaten themselves

Longwood are certain to go down. Senchalstown can play in 2nd gear and win

Have you seen the Pats lately. On all that I have seen they will be going down. They may have ran O'Mahonys close but O'Mahonys are very poor. Granted Tones are not in great place either but Tones will have too much firepower relative to St Pats.

You were right about Pats but Tones should be worried. They have gone back a lot and those lads that won the U21 for them a few years ago arent cutting it at senior.

Unfortunately they had a serious amount of injuries including 3 cruciates(excuse the spelling)at the one time. That is very hard for a rural club to cope with.

Rathkenny will drop. Its good for Meath football for cillis to stay up. Alot of housing being built in cills parish. Likes of Rathkenny need to amalgamate to keep there good players playing at a good level.
