We're not talking about Andy Mac thankfully. There's one lad on here who has some kind of personal grudge against him and is stirring up this rhetoric about replacing Andy. Thankfully the knowledgeable Meath supporters no that he's doing a good job and will get a couple more years in charge .

He probably will get another 2 years. But I predict we will win nothing under him. Now give me your prediction

You really are clueless. U predict we will win nothing in the 2 years ??? Good man really sticking your next out there aren't ya. We're in division 1 next year which we obviously won't win we unless Dublin have 1 massive massive off day no other county is gonna win leinster and we're certainly not gonna win the all Ireland in the next couple of years . At the moment for us it's about progression and improvement. We've improved this year and our aim next year should be stay up in div 1 a leinster final and the super 8d where hopefully we fare better than this year and maybe pick up a win. We could replace Andy with any manager in Gaa and we still won't win anything in the next 2 years . We're not at that point yet but we're getting there

I'm even more optimistic now, so we actually have the players to win something, the issue is the manager......brilliant....sure let's get Lar wall in immediately and let the trophies come rolling back in. Happy days

we won the o'byrne cup 2018..so technically you are wrong he won something

But look i will be the first to say the o'byrne cup is a Mickey Mouse cup, it's has the same standard and bragging rights as the feis cup ! Two Mickey Mouse cups nothing to brag about.

What do people think we can win? The league - the All Ireland? I'm sure Andy and the squad will feel they can but in reality we are a long way off Dublin and a fair bit off Tyrone, Kerry, Mayo and Donegal albeit closing the gap! I think realistically there are probably 5 teams who can win the league and less than 5 who can win 'Sam'! - and right now we aren't one!
(The reason I think 5 can win the league - Dublin are not as focused on the league and of course they have to play 3/4 games away from home!)
I think Andy needs to keep Meath in Division 1 next year and get us back into the Super 8s. That is the only way we can progress - hopefully then in 2021 with a number of younger lads coming through we will move up to the real top tier!

Fair commments but you must give these young players some game time next year or it will b starting from scratch with them in 2021.the worry is i feel from talking in the county mcentee wont do this.nothing suggests he is goin blood them next year.lets hope it happens.

I think he will - in fact I believe he has already reached out to a few - I think you will see a large group of lads go in for fitness assessments later this year and whoever fits the bill will come through for OBC

In fairness I think that is one of the things Andy cannot be accused of. He is straight as a arrow

Absolute nonsense, I know plenty of lads involved and not just from one club and I'd wager anything that you've just made that up to suit your agenda. This is the problem with anonymous internet forums, if posters had to put their name to what they were saying you wouldn't get half this crap.

Give it a rest, you have been trying to bluff everyone on here that Biggy and Brennan were still on the panel. Yet they were a no show tonight. Practice what you preach about posting.

Yeah Biggy was supposed to have food poisoning for the Mayo game so there was no reason he shouldn't have been on the bench yesterday.

Er, what? Go and find me where I have said anything about what you are on about, or learn to read, whichever is easier

Have you dementia or just in denial, on 28/7 you replied to bigjoe stating they were both still on the panel. The dogs on the streets know they both walked out. Now give it a rest Andy.

Biggy is 100% gone from the panel and left before the Mayo game. Brennan is still there but is just injured. Very disappointed with Biggy and it is a sad way for him to probably end his Meath career. I am sure he was very frustrated with not getting any starts, except for the Leinster final, but he was not making any impact as a sub as his contributions were be becoming less and less effective and he should have held his head, especially as he is the second most experienced on the team.
