Replying To royaldunne:  "Just listened to james Conlon interview, what a inspiration for every player, a old head on young shoulders, he and none of the team bother with the "crap" from so called supporters, they only care about the real supporter. Keyboard warriors beware. This Meath team and management have no time for them, and rightly so."
I dont mean to be pedantic but it was Brian McMahon who was saying 'that' initially, when he and James Conlon were being interviewed in aftermath of Sunday by Marty Morrissey. Marty asked, James a question or two first which he answered very well. Ome was about his origins and his mother. Then Brian was asked about the desire in the group, which he replied that the team only worry about themselves and not what orhers say. Brian was also asked about his ckare roots and the fact that his dad and Clare Ciaran O'Connor played together with the club in Clare (cant remember the name). Marty asked James another question and he correctly reiterated what Brian was stating about the team only listening to themselves. But they both held themselves very well. Wouldn't say either interviewed were inspirations to youngster in the question answering styles. Just saying.

Lads, relax with grief for royaldunne. The guy's a Meath legend. His analysis is always spot on and with the exception of Furlong he knows more about Meath football than most HS keyboard warriors put together. Always has the inside track on whats happening in camp and predictions are generally spot on. RD keep her lit, i have your corner.

Totally agree don't understand why everything he says has to be scrutinised to the last detail. Pathetic behaviour from a handful (yet loud) posters.

Thanks for that. Really appreciated. Tbh I just want to talk about the game. I've tried to redirect it back to that numerous times.
Hopefully now it will be. Again much appreciated.

Jasus now you going back. You must have been on here a long time ago. Ahh some great posters, myself and ard ri would go at it hammering all the way. But it was always with a air of respect for each other's differences and as Meath fans. Wow he hasn't been around in years upon years. Always played the ball not the man in his posts.

Don't know where you pulled the personal criticism thing from.

In the post of yours that I replied to you used the word "slated". You'll see another example of slating in your reply there.

Anyway I'll leave you to it. Successful man like yourself probably hasn't time for over and back on here.

Ha! The other half is still walking like John Wayne after the victory against Clare

Replying To winatallcost:  "Emergency measures were needed to improve our forward options after Leinster championship displays. With the exception of Ruari O'Caolain and Jason Skully, wouldn't see any other junior players improving our options in forwards. Shane Walsh has proved to be exceptional at underage and with Na Fianna. He can play in full forward line and is exactly what we need."
That's 2 from the jnrs so. If brian Hanlon Kells is not as good as Brennan McGovern then I'll say no more.tomas o reilly is getting a raw deal in my view he's been consistent all year. And to clearly see lads play poorly and still b left on baffles me.fairness in a team is all that can b asked.if your bulletproof for not being taking off it will come back to haunt us.to say this young man is going to b our saviour is pressure on him and wishful thinking on our behalf.
