Campion wasn't even in the 26 today, hasn't got a sniff in this championship

I think McEntee does a lot of the work that allows menton push on, he holds back and frees him up. Devine no doubt is a better option as a midfielder but I think we need someone happier to do the dirty work

Might be worth trying Ethan Devine in midfield . He caught some good ball today and is reasonably mobile Shane McEntee just slows every move down to either a backwards or sideways hand pass given the opposition time to get back and defend

All 3 goals achieved. Thank you Andy McEntee.
On the game itself a bit nervy to say the least. Keoghan had perhaps his best game of the year today, immense, harnan little rusty in first half but grew as game went on, Newman was excellent thought the full back line was fantastic, mid field hit and miss, Conlon what a player, Newman back to his best, thought Reilly while not scoring acted as a good link man. Also a special word for Ben Brennan the man has taken dogs abuse for the last 2 weeks, he was fantastic when he came on and got a point. Delighted for him. All and all we can sit back and relax, the super 8s , hopefully micky is alright for next week, posts should be padded. That looked very nasty , but his bravery was fantastic, McMahon worked all day long, and took one for the team.
Walsh looked good when he came on. Not going to mention any negatives. Brilliant score line.
Onwards and upward.

That was a tough game today great result but I'm still at a loss to see our game plan , we are so hard on ourselves it's very seldom we let the ball do the work it's all the time been carried.
Newman stayed in a lot more when hes was on but we still never tried to him with direct ball like we did for 25 minutes against donegal I find it strange .
I thought Newman played well hopefully he will be fit for next week i would like to see him play in the corner and put Walsh in full forward allow Newman more freedom . Walsh looks a big lad something we badly need in our forward line .
Cian OSullivan struggled again today lucky to be still holding his place.
I really don't know why we haven't done something to correct our kickouts it's been a problem since the first round of the league , plenty of times today we had players making a run looking for a quick one and Colgan would go long !! Aimlessly most of the time it needs major sorting out before next years league .
Keoghan would get on any county team hes pure class his tackle with a couple of minutes to go was brilliant it was pulled for a foul but I dont think it was .
McGill has improved hugely as a full back again his block in injury time was so important.
It's been a long year for this Meath team most of the other teams in the last 8 rested key players in the league all our players have been on the go since February and I'd imagine it's starting to take its toll on some players it's hard going .
Look forward to the next 3 matches I think Donegal will be the toughest game but do believe we will compete well agains Mayo and Kerry , I fancy us against Mayo in croke park .

Ethan Devine played in middle for a lot of that game to be fair.

Interesting to see how we will be fixed on the injury front. Newman and Devine went off with hard knocks/collisions. How badly injured are James McEntee and Ryan? I've heard Ruari O'Caolain badly injured during the week and will be missed as looked electric in Leinster Junior final. Great to see Shane Walsh in. A serious prospect. Squad will be vital now!

Brennan was hardly Fantastic now ! Come on ! He took his point well but he has deserverly lost his place ! As for Biggy he was non excistent ! I still think he has something to offer and would keep Him but hes been dreadful in the last 2 games !

COS is struggling hasn't got into the last 2 games I thought he was lucky to last the game today that's the only one I'd be changing I would play James Mcentee if fit even though hes hasn't set the world alight either in his last couple of games but I dont think he could lose as much ball as COS .

Super 8s, take a chill pill, have a bear, have a bit of hanky panky with the woman (or man) in ur life. I know I'm doing them all. Enjoy today/tonight. We don't get to celebrate that often. Don't look at the negatives.

Negatives have to be looked at or were gonna get our arses handed to us ! Your comments on Reilly and Brennan were pure biased and incorrect

Brennan came on and ran like a dog to close it up as that was all that all the 15 where doing at that stage of the game. Also took the winning point of the game well considering the abuse and bullsh*t that's been written about him over the last week. Cillian O'Sullivan has contributed absolutely nothing the last 2games and not a word said. Against Dublin, all 6 forwards where useless to what all 6 are capable off yet Brennan has been singled out on this all week for criticism. Delighted it was his score that was the difference today

I take your point on devine but not sure if hes defensively savy enough or disciplined to play midfield for us yet. From what ive seen of him in club and county very good going forward but still a lot to learn going the other way
