The 8 team group still has round to play and then 3rd team in that has preliminary quarter final to play so expect a 3/4 week wait at least

Why they rushed the two 1st team groups in the Junior to play 3rd round matches before senior and intermediate, I'll never know.

Four groups of four first teams only with a number of these coming up from junior B. Top two from each group go into quarter finals and the rest play out for a shield competition. Junior winner gets promoted but no relegation.

Really don't see the need given there would be just three group stage qualifaction rounds.Very little football for junior players over the summer months this year. Extremely frustrating for players.

Moylagh very impressive in how they disposed of a poor clann na ngael team in league final at weekend. They were in a final two years ago. Could be a dark horse if Ballivor had an off day.

Athboy were missing 4 players for the final. Would not rule them out.
Moylagh Dunsany semi final will be a great game if they can beat the 2nd teams.

Two of the best placed first teams. So if a 1st team wins the final against another first team both of them will be going up. Must be a play off between teams if two first teams don't make it to the final.
